Too many I die liao lah..have to do some scanning work and some conversion. I only post when its difficult for people to see it by words. I see how lah but but would come along only when needed. But no with text description..gotta go figure out what they are by parts name.

so anyone going to the durian plantation? i think my bike is ok for now after all the hassle abt the rectifier... as for the fork still hunting for one... but temporary just maintain the old one.. allthough not that stable.. remember i ask u ah-pek abt the fork slider?

erk... i think thats wat its called la fork slider... the one that slides inside the bottom part of the fork... coz i need to change the top part... due to wear and tear... the fork seal change also no point it will continue to leak out... but should able to maintain long enough until i find a second hand top part of the fork.. only thing a bit unstable...

 

ah pek u not going next week?

Oh...I tot I replied you on that already. All you need to do is to get the upper part (one piece) call "fork tube" or "Stanchion" fom LAB...around $160.00 and a set of oil seal...then go to motoiam and pay tem labour to fix lor.

 

As for second..not sure how lonf it takes to find one...even got, mototiam won't charge you that cheap lah.

ah pek.. ask you

 

if early in the morning... want to start bike... but can't start... like suddenly the whole bike becomes very weak... i check all the signal and lights... all ok but then reaction very slow... light very dim...

 

is it battery fault or need to re-charge??

 

usually when start bike.. you can hear the ignition sound right?? mine is like... hear a bit then the sound become weaker and weaker... then until don't have...

Check to make sure ur battery terminals are tighten. If problem still persist, your battery is weal liao. If you can start your bike or by push start..while riding, it would charge your battery.

 

If it happened again everyday or the next time you start your bike, there are three possiblities..but unlikely you the third one.

 

1) Battery reached life span liao

 

2) Rectifier may be faulty..check charging rate output of rectifier)

 

3) Coil o_O (if your battery ies original and rectifier change not long along..could be coil liao :sian: )

since my bike cannot start... i took out the battery and tomorrow bring it to bike shop and charge... see is it the battery faulty a not

 

but ah-pek.. my volt meter shows that it is at 12v le... or is it the amper weaken already??

 

yesterday still ok.. then today want to start bike.. its just died on me.. argh!!!

 

if coil is faulty... very scary le!!! but i doubt is the rectifier... if rectifier faulty... i still can start but my lights all will screwy.. right??

my coil died on me twice. first time on a slope, suddenly just up lorry. tot its battery and rectifier problem so just push start, go to a mech and charge it up, next day change both battery and rectifier. 2nd time is few days later. the bike died in a traffic junction outside bugis. damn lau kui siah, with so many ppl watching me and cars behind horning at me. this time totally cannot push start liao. had to call for a tow truck :(

 

on a side note. new coil costs abt $300, recoil costs abt $160 and a coil from a scrapped S4 costs abt $100. u can consider the options if its really the coil's problem.

Dun scare la, like wat he said usually if coil defective...

 

You would probably can't start your bike liao, need to call for tow truck le.

 

You still can start your bike now, means still got hope lor.. LOL
