No lah...whack is only first time..jsut to make sure things are hot enough to dissolves, burnt and falsh out the carbonised composite in your engine. Second one is like just to massage_massage and relax...LOL!...after that..no need for a long while olehdee.:goodluck:

First you have to identify where EXACTLY its leaking. Do this by cleaning off all coolant stain residue around there first..then start your bike and let it run stationary for awhile to have the pressure build up in the cooling syetem. Now squat near the place you suspect and rev the throttle to higher rpm and look see for any sign of coolant oozing out. Look at likely places like the rubber hose that joined to the radiator tubing..it could be your radiator cab oso (have to take off your tank to see..or open up the cap when engine is cool and check the status fof the rubber air tight seal..should be soft and nimble).

3 bottles with filter change is okay. I know that some riders put in slighly less than what's recommended (I'm one of them)..this is to cater for slight volume in eo increasing as the vicosity thins out. That's what the bleeder tube from your air box is for.

thks pek..will try check it out...

Thermostat operational status checking?..very good question indeed and no mototiam would ever test it and if they do..its gonna cost you more..yet it's so simple. Ok..I know of any other way except this..unless you want to try overheating your bike and waste petrol amd wait for your tempersture led light to come on..here..

1) You have to take out the thermostat.

2) Place the thermostat in a pot of water and boil it.

3) Almost all thermostats are set to operate at just below boiling. Watch

carefully as the water starts to boil.

Just before the water begins to boil, if the thermostat opens..it means that

it's working. It actual function on your bike..this opening actually lets the

coolant flow into the engine block water jacket and path to the radiator.

If duriing boiling point, the the thermostat failed to open..Ker_Chiang

liao..go buy new one and replace.

and my fan...so far like fan never works only...

Don't work?...good what...means your coolant system is working well :)

Anyway to check your fan..you can always take the wiring connector point and supply it with a 12V dc. If that is to cumbersome...than earth the cut-on/off radiator fan switch and you should hear the fan turning. :shades: :goodluck:

Huh?...what brand and what is it exactly...and why only Mercedes Benz and not any others. Must asked in detail lah..like that I oso know how to answer you leh. You said "fuel" but for Blue Coral product (so many) I so far only recommended for eo only...so is it for eo or fuel?

the coolant sick uh..heh..

but in any case, i'd suggest to you welmo, remedy the coolant problem first. later u ride half-way, over-heat, engine cease, gone case liao. overhaul is gonna burn a hole in your pocket. not to mention others' pockets (if u lan-lan have to borrow money..heh...)

Look like this under your tank.

Remember...don't take out your thermostat..it can affect the reliablity of your ride badly! engine running cold is very unhealthty for your engine and moreover you are polluting the environment. Its there for many a reason.

If you are sure that its the radiator itself..that means one of the tubing is 'punctured' due to corrosion or hit by something that gotten thru your mesh.

Yes..you can do with steel epoxy but make sure that the prep for the surface of the holed area is thoroughly clean and fine sand paper down for a good fix...its under pressure. Make sure the curing time is according to the epoxy instruction..get a good one. Yes..there are shop that does welding for radiator leakage too. There is one at Autopoint but I see they do mostly car ones..but no difference. They can even change all the tubings.:goodluck:

No such thing as having to change the whole coolant system without finding out why. Yes..change water pump, thermostat, all tubinng and radiator..its a sure way to solve their problem and preventing you from coming back while you oso foot the $$$s!

Get your radiator leak fixed first. Heat is ok..when you said hot..not sure what you really mean as you likely not used to 400cc yet..and of course at 85-92 degreed C ..that's hot. I am saying this is because you did not mentioned about the temperature lights coming on..that's overheating and that's really hot! So as long as the temp lights does not comes on, you are safe but do check the coolant reservoir level and that it don't run dry. If it keeps drying..you may want to have the thermostat change. Need not worry about the pump yet..as long as you know the coolant is cycling around.

Aiyah...why you all buy bike never check and arrange for some sort of warranty one...sighhh.
