i just get my s4 today n went for servicing,e machanic told me e same thing,he said mine is 1st batch of version s wit this type(PB1) of exhaust,he told me 1st batch of version s in year 1996 come wit 2 version(diff exhaust system),but i not sure how true is it la...:sian:anw,super 4 is a dame good bike for transportation(for class2A),riding style is comfortable,pickup is smooth,bike is cool(compare wit cbr400),n im v happy wit e bike,wont regret by getting a super 4....

can ask shop (under table) to send inspection due to modification example HID, handlebar ETC........

Anyways I have a friend say that he once put a cbr400 endcan on a Ver S. He say sound deeper and more solid, but TP nvr catch cause it looks the same as a normal endcan.

 

Anyone know if its true?

If I'm not wrong cbr4 and s4 uses more or less the same engine just a few things diff. When I took 2b I swore I wont ride anything other then a sportsbike. LOL! times have changed. Roadster!

engine shud be more or less e same,but in term of riding style,heating,there is lot of diff,but i think its stil depend on personal la..

but the way how the engine is tuned, built, positioned and everything are different.

 

cbr400rr is built for sportsbike performance such as bhp & high range torque whereas super4 is for city riding performance bhp & low to mid range torque.

 

somehow, cbr400rr exhaust note sounds bassier and louder as compared to super4.

Welcome to the family bro What S4 model you riding?

My knowledge abt S4, most of it came from talking to Ahpek. When your free just ask him and drop by, a 30min -1hr of talking with him you can learn alot.

i buy the bike i nv freaking check the IU unit.( so stoopid of me) LOL the previous owner buang the bike, damage the IU unit. and now cant even detect the card. so i doubt the warranty cover this.

Hi s4 bros.! i think i and my s4 belongs here as it is not a vtec version and i yet to know whether it is vers s or what version.lol..cuz bought this bike from a shop, they take about 30units of s4 from a driving centre and sold off..i must say it is in very good cond but can only whack til 140 and tats it(was curious bout the top speed of s4) i tot can whack til 180..guess they power cut alot..salesman say it is a combination of ver S and v-tec 1. ? ??

Driving centre bike in good condition?

Maybe the exterior looks good but the interior:faint:

I use to have the problem, my problem was the rpm meter circuit board cracked.

The salesman say ur bike combination of vtec 1 and ver s?

Never heard of tht hybrid model lol.

 

It's best you go to a bike shop like Unique or ask Ahpek to help you check

At the time of sales...they did not tell you that the unit is not working..if they had, then I understand they don't warant. Tell the boss if he was you, would he wanna buy a bike with a defective unit..and without being inform. How to recommend him new buyer next time like that?
