Nothing to do with ur diaphragm..you must have remove your tank recently.

Check your fuel tube..its not in place fully..push it all the way in. If this is not solved again...your fuel tube may be damage when dislodging it from the tank while gripping it with a plier.

Hi ah pek,

I checked the fuel tube.they seem ok. I started again and the fuel is really coming out of the small protrudung metal tube under the diaphragm.... i opened the assembly and saw the diaphragm has a small hole in it.. I tried placing a silicone sealant on the hole and let it dry. I started again after 30 mins and voila, no leaks...i just hope it will hold for a longer period of time...

also, what is the recommended change oil frequency in terms of kms and in terms of time for our s4?

thanks and more power to all of you.

hey guys...my speedo backlights very dim leh...issit electrical problem??? fuel indicator only works when at full tank....ride 50km only it stop working liao...issit beyond salvage?

Just change the light bulbs for ur meters will do unless you wanna mod strip leds.

Can't say much about your fuel indicator unless I have personally se it. Next time drop by with half tankful and I see what can be wrong.:sian: may be u should go back to the mototiam and tell them that for a replacement.

Ermm, back lights maybe due to weak battery. But in other cases it's normal cos mine too even after i changed my batt. Then for your fual tank, i think the indicator inside the tank is spoilt or not working well le.

Btw ah pek, how much does it cost to repair the speedometer. Cos yest when i was riding, suddenly my speed indicator side is not working while my rpm side still can go up and down.

I suspect is the speed thing on my front wheels is spoil due to wear and tear. Do you know the cost of repairing it?

If yours is a non Vtec...just have to change the speedometer cable...something u can easily DIY.

That's funny...if yours is a non Vtec..even with holes in the diaphragm..when switching it to off position..it should stopn. Anyway, time to change a new piece of the fuel kock lah.

There is no change eo frequency to be exactly. Mileage and period in the manual is just a guide. It all depends on how u ride. If you ride hard and long continous trip..change is sooner than your usual day to day commuting to and from work. Reference is 3k to 5k or 3 months which ever comes first and this is only a guide. Also depending on what grade and type of eo you used. Its time to change when you feel the ride is rough from the engine gear box.

You want can try my eo next time..will last u 7K to 15K depending on riding style...cheap somemore :sian:

Eo are all the same basically among all brands except for what they blended it and claim theirs more to be superior in performance and protection..just like I blended my own.
