so-called QA inspection on e bike ur buying.

I ever used a 1st hand verS in 1997 but no even a year,e rectifier giv way.

N now im a pround owner of verR ( verR btw is wif e front cowling n rect. headlight)

Enjoyin my ride verR , 1985 made,COE renewed n full settlement done.

Since ur in financial budgeting n not wantin to get a Vtec,i suggest u take ur time searching around for a non-vtec s4.Besides e outlook,one of e crucial thing is to

inspect e radiator system.N do bear in mind that WEAR & TEAR r unavoidable.

yea lucks perhaps sometimes but what about the engine wise since it is more than 10 years? will it be a problem?

Usually for servicing for super 4 non vtec are change of EO, air filter, spark plug, wash cabrettor and radiator?thanks for replying

like to find out how many PB1 rider here actual mod their stock exhaust to fix after market end can? any issue face after fitting like fail inspection etc

PB1's engine is very quiet. FC wise, for mine is ard 25+km/L

i normally change gear at 4-5k rpm.xpressway travel @ 90-120

mike.....u changing ur water pump and hoses? don't forget to change the metal hoses also....price not sure...but think if u change all the hoses, water pump and change coolant should cost more than 150 to 200?

bro can explaint to me why nid to change the metal hoses if its still usable? btw my bike now at mototiam changing water pump and rebuild my fork + fork protector. as for hose i intend to put samco but thats only provided have stock for ver S. if not..just stick to my oem hose n get it change if needed.

coz the metal hose inside could be corroded also....never know until open and see the inside...since u changing all the rubber hoses might as well change the metal hoses also...think there are only 2 metal hoses...

Ok this is what i did.. rebuild my FORK and install the fork protector like the one on spec3, (Price is $80 + $17) but my price secret lah hor :X

 

Change water pump & thermostat (For older bike better go change this 2 thing very2 important)

change coolant. (Price is $220) but my price secret lah hor :X

 

TN: If thermostat spoil due to wear & tear proccess...rusty etc etc..it can cause your water pump to spoil and cause leaking to water pump..and will result in always coolant empty in reserve tank..

 

Change cluth cable..($28) no hidden cost :~(

 

Change radiotor cap..($25) no hidden cost :~(

Guys, yesterday tried at 2nd link trying to pump my bike but it would go more. It stays at 145km and thats it.

 

I ever did 160km/h before.

 

Can tell me whats wrong with it?

bro clutch cable at LAB is $16, i did buy a radiator cap 4 my frenz b 4 can't

 

remember da exect amount if not wrong less then $20 is also at LAB

Ok lor i promote u the shop, its UNIQUE M0T0SP0RTS @ eunos behind paya lebar..

 

Thermostat alone the price im not sure the thing quite cheap la less then $30 perhaps but cost to open up & install is the matter..

 

and for your reserve tank when your bike is hot it will go down slightly abit...but wait for the bike to cool down and see if it goes back to the normal (at your 1st marking)
