Hi All Bros,

I just recently change my battery, well everything seems OK.

However, when I am checking my battery voltage using multimeter, i realize one of cabble not connected to the battery, it seems like it is grounding cable after I try to check the cable line.

Should this grounding cable connected to BLACK pole of the battery? Or to the RED one?

Or its OK not to connect it to my battery, because it seems like everything OK.

Thanks in advance.

Technically as an electronics gradurate, I would advise you to tap the grouding cable to your negative (black) pole.

Hey all,

I've been a Version S rider since 2006. Wondering any of you know a place for a paintjobs; fairly professional and can assist in designing the paint work.

I saw lots of Super Four with unique paintwork and design on Singapore roads. I'm wondering where they get such services. Especially those of you peeps who pimped up your ride, hope you can share.

Planning to pimp my Version S too.

Try Yeow motors at amk industrial park 1. Look for Ah Ken. Better if u have a pic of the design you want. My super 4 cafe racer with yellow/black pinstripe done by him. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/10/7uzehete.jpg

Thanks for the responses guys. Something to consider. aridj_nich, HLC is H L Cycle right?

Anyway, when I mentioned unique, this is what I meant; customised paintwork:

Pardon me if this' your bike, but I think they're awesome for they have a theme in their design.

Yes it's HLC. You can discuss the design with them.

However you can be more "unique" and done fast using sticker if you don't mind.

So many sample design you can follow, or maybe you have your dream design, I think it easier using sticker.

Have a look at 219 Motorshop for design example.

They have Facebook page to see their job sample.

Cheers.

Hello everybody, I've been going through help to find a forum about CB400s, I bought a CB400 super four 1992, she has a little bit of rust on the outside, but she functions great! the engine had only ran for 9,000Km. I bought the bike for 1,500$US. I brought a well known mechanic with me before buying the bike. Now, as I have been driving for the first few weeks she was running great, but then one day while riding on a straight road on 3rd gear with medium throttle, the bike was cutting response of the throttle, so the bikes engine was not taking in any gasoline so it turned of, and after a few tries it turns on again. I got it checked and the mechanic told me that my fuel tank is rusted from the inside thus they put in a larger fuel hose and a fuel filter inside it. It worked well after that but the same problem occurred after half an hour of riding. I'm starting to feel like the fuel filter won't be as effective as buying a new fuel tank…. now here's my problem I've been searching everywhere in my country Lebanon, and european and american sites.. can't find any parts, specifically the fuel tank… anybody got any idea if this problem can be solved? thanks

apparently you can reduce rust in ur fuel tank ..

remove ur fuel tank, drain the petrol into another container.

buy liters of cheap apple vinegar cider else u can use white vinegar mixed with distlled water.. pour into tank and let it soak for maybe 4 hours - 5 hours..

shake it once in a while inbetween the 4 - 5 hours.

pour everything away and rinse with distilled water..

can youtube for video instructions

I spoke with another mechanic and asked me to bring him my bike, he said he had some liquid that may solve the problem. But I spoke to a dude in THailand whom had customized his super four into a cafe racer… I took into consideration that this dude knows what he's talking about. So I sent him pictures of my fuel tank, he told me that If I keep this tank I'll probably have to change the engine too :'(

Nevertheless I'm going to see if he can do something about the excess rust.. Thanks a a lot for the advice @wad3v3r!

Also, if anyone knows any asian sites that I can look at? specifically in singapore in this case.. hopefully a site may contain a 92-96 CB400 sf tank, and that it ships here :)

cheers mates awaiting your replies...

Anyone here ever change the CYLINDER HEAD of your bike? Or those who did full overhaul; did you change it due to wear and tear etc? Thinking of changing when I overhaul the bike man.
