After changing the battery, you need to check the charging voltage which sometimes they don't do for you. I recommend you take a higher amperage battery (190 amperes..last 2-3 yrs or longer) rather than the made in China BS-9 Yuasa which is only 90 Amperes which last about only a year without proper grounding. NEVER NEVER trust your those Viltmeter installed on ur bike..the accuracy is way out sometimes but at least 0.5v dc to 1 vdc out of specs when it gets older due to weather exposure. These meters are meant for "cockpit" usage and is not external weather proof. Need any help..pm me.

hey guys, recently after riding at 180km/h for 3 times at malaysia, my bike is giving me problems. the next day after my ride, i had trouble starting my bike.

1) i need to rev upon pressing the ignition if not it'll die, like really rev and rev till 4rpm. usually i just press the ignition and bike runs like butter.

2) upon accelerating, it seems that my bike feels so underrev. it's like im moving off on the 5th gear and the sound isn't so smooth.

3) my maximum speed now at gear 6 is only 140km/h.

my friends told me that it may be a clutch plate or clutch housing problem and maybe a side stand switch issue. could anyone help me out? could it be that or my carb?

Have ur spark plugs change first. The carbs is the last thing you wanna touch.

Why would you want to changed the head gasket if there is nothing wrong with it?..it's not a cheap affair.

I see..in this case..has to replaced but don't get talk into changing too much stuff like changing valve springs, decarbonizing valves and replacing shims..etc. Usually they recommend so as the head is off but if there is something bad inside, then it's ok..can consider top head overhaul liao..set ur $s quite a lot.

Be sure to install 2 points one not 3 points as it uses engine mounts point..causes vibration. Go to Ah Fook at AMK Ave Ind Pk 2..blk 5032 #295. $65 the very most..more don't do. If you can get the unit urself..very easy to DIY..unit cost $35-$45 only.

Hi Ah Pek, thank you for the advice. My bike is currently there for "full body checkup" :). Will ask Ah Fook to install the engine guard.

Need help bros,

Just now when i was on my way home, out of sudden i hear grinding noise / knock noise n abit vibrate feeling from my lower part of engine maybe near to gearbox..

The noise occur whenever i throttle at lower gear or taking off.. Pull in clutch lever then noise disappearred.

What is going on? I can remember before the noise come out i accidentally throttle a bit at gear 4/5 but speed less than 10kmh.

Tomorrow i have test so still can ride for another 100km?

Check ur engine oil level...if all is well..could be clutch housing damage.

I just read again about your problem..about clutching in and noise gone and noise coming at low speed..this could be your from sprocket badly worn and chain loose. Check see if the center link of your chain is chrome shinning like..if so..it cold be front primary sprocket badly worn and chain too loose. I can't say if anything can happen unless the fault is identified..if it's the front sprocket..better get it change soon. Look at the teeh of the back sprocket and see if they are pointed sharp..if yes..time to change back, front and chain as a set. This should set you back about $220 for the three items (chain be "X-ring..gold in color").
