Use the kit lens till you decided what kinda of shot u are into.. maybe u can consider a potrait lens..

End of the day is your money and you live with it.. so make it a wise choice and whatever u chose dont look back and compare it.

imho, both are fine, in the end, you either you belong to white (canon) or black (nikon) gang

imho, for noob start with any compact will do. but if u die die must get the DLSR. Choose a model where there are plenty of users that you can get along with (clubsnap a good place to start).

great lens but challenging to use.. but the effect is very nice.. having a bike and a camera is great thing to have

 

can shoot anytime anywhere.. very nice

agree totally..i love the lens.heh..its true to have a bike and cam.i just go all over sg with nowhere in mind and take pictures all over the place.hah..previously using a d60..upgrade bug caught me now on a d90. =)) wat abt u bro?
