Dude, if you happen to DIY to dismantle your windshield for some reasons, and*touch wood* cracked it, I've a spare DB windshield for sale. Heh... :cheeky:

Ya lor... I always fail big time with DIY... was intending to be more independent and DIY more, so decided to start with small small things first lor... Haiz... footpeg also can't change properly, can forget about other things already... :(

 

Anyway, there's still footpeg in place... went to Guan Hoe just now to buy 2 ball bearings and fixed back the OEM footpeg... The aftermarket footpegs will be collecting dust in my storeroom... o_O

 

Actually I was quite surprised that a simple thing such as pillion footpegs also have so many mechanism inside... ball bearing, spring, spacer etc... and I thought it looks easy... :p

 

force the bearing all the way in.. then get a used/unwanted spring.. cut short.. ur pegs can back to where it belongs..

If u want more challenge stuffs... try out the front brake.. 6 pot piston take out N copper grease it.. :thumb:

Choy~!!! *touch wood* Thanx for the offer... I hope I won't have to take up that offer though.. haha... Anyway my windshield is already fixed (at last a successful DIY), though I nearly cracked the front fairing... :p

I thought about this idea too~! But i gotta find springs that are small enough to fit in the hole first before I try anything else.

Won't touch the brake... Brakes, engine and electrical stuff I will pay mech to do it cuz I don't wanna screw it up... Cosmetic stuff I'm more willing to try and DIY for fun... :)

Every individuals have their personal opinions on the shops they bring their bikes for servicing, so long as u're happy with wad u paid for, that's period!

 

Calm down alittle as I'm pretty sure that wad the other forumers had in mind was juz to share n not cause any kinda words war or wadsoeva!

 

Tks again for sharing the infomation.. I'm now seeking to find out wad kinda servicing i shld do for my bike as the mileage is close to 25k.
