btw i'm changing new tyre soon... is 2ct recommended ??

pilot power 2ct u mean? - my favourite tyres, value for money. its the cheapest yet good dual compound tyres for both track riding and touring combined.

but if u plan to use it for touring only, then i suggest u get something else that won't wear off as fast.

may i noe hw long does a hayabusa tires last? since its horsepower is really high... i heard it uses up really v.v.v. fast... i mean if use those normal lower end tires... nt those super ex kind... as i noe the better the tires, the faster it wears... if i juz use on road and dun go circuit 1... for commuting only...

Actually it depends on how you take care of the tyres. If you're the type who blasts off from every traffic lights like you're drag racing, it will never last. If you're the kind who neglects checking the tyre pressure frewuently, it won't last. If you're the kind that likes hard braking, it won't last. But if you're the exact opposite of what I've mentioned, then the tyres would last for around 15k (the stock BT56).

One thing though, do not use tyres that are the longest lasting. Using those type of tyres would potentially make your tyres OUTLAST the Busa. Hope you know what I'm trying to say. You need the grip to keep your bike upright. Its a compromise you must accept if you wanna ride a Busa safely and enjoy its power. :thumb:

:sian::sian: for commuting u need a hayabusa??

Hi all

I'm getting MARRIED on 1st May and wish to organise a CL2 BIKE CONVOY to accompany the bridal cars to fetch the bride. It's meant to be a surprise for my future wife.

However I'll need your help to make it a success and memorable for my fiancee. A small Ang Pao will be given to show my appreciations. I'll need about 20 BIG BIKES so that the 'entrance' will be loud and grand.

Please volunteer yourself for this joyous occasion.

Date: 1st MAY 2009 (Friday)

Time: 8.30am to 9.30am (rough guide)

Location: From Hougang to Serangoon

Please leave your name and contact number. I will confirm the details when the TIME is near.

Your HELP is greatly APPRECIATED!!!!!

Thanks!!!

M1 is equipe with 2plies radial carcass for high speed stabilty due to 'Silica-Silan" compound

M3 is same with added NEW compound , stiffer belt construction & new groving pattern.

dun liddat say leh... the bike too nice liao... ha... travel oso muz travel with pride ma... anyway the new busa still gt underseat storage for thgs? the 07 1 i c the rear seat still gt the keyhole 2 open rear seat... but i c the new 1 doesn't have any... so no place 2 keep misc item? and the busa EO use 3.1L so is 4 bottle... so the 900ml of EO u all always let bike shop take ar? if u chg at bike shop... or ask for it back? 900ml left like quite wasteful 2 give bike shop...

and 1 more qns... the busa fuel consumption like same as 600cc bike... y is dis so ar? i heard its fuel consumption oso ard 16km/l...

The people are lying when they say fuel consumption is same as a 600cc. IT IS BETTER!!! In fact, it is even better than many 1000cc bikes around! My almost stock busa gives me around 17-18km/l. Try finding a 1000cc sports bike with that kinda mileage!:cheeky:

Reason for the fuel economy? Torque at low revs means you dun have to whack the throttle wide open to move fast. Those super sports have the power higher up in the rev range so more fuel is used lor.

new gen 2 busa have underseat storage but smaller compared to gen 1.. the key hole shifted place below the tail .

fuel consumption can go up to23km/h if u ride at constant 90km/h :thumb:

wao... 23km/l? better than sm 2b 2stroke bike liao... with hayabusa gt ppl go 90km/h meh? so much power... ha... ic... no wonder i dun c the keyhole anymore... but the storage enuff 2 store rain coat or bike cover?

hw abt EO wise? u all buy 4 bottle? since it only uses 3.1L i suppose if u only fill 3 bottle oso can rite? as long as above the min lvl can liao ma... i suppose...

its a really nice bike... hope i can gt my clz 2 soon... y fly with the birds when you can choose to fly with the falcons :)
