in a newly form grp, there is a need to build up the comrade among the riders,

imo any kind of meet up will be a good one. each grp always will have different way of looking at and wanting for the grp.

there can never be a 100% satisfaction for everyone. a simple ride on the local can also built up some bond between each rider and also let ea and everyone to know how each of us ride, while riding fast alot of details will have been missed out, not to say everyone is not familiar with one another.

i do not want to see our grp getting into any form of accident due to the above.

objective of the grp now is to built the bond and understanding of ea other. until the grp is united then talk about the overall.

tk, u are doing well, keep up the gd work.

U r most welcome... This meetup is meant for everyone and not just individual personnel...

For tmr night Joyride pls abide the Singapore TP traffic rules and do not speed.

I understand that Falcon is meant as a FAST bike but PLEASE do understand that we r having our Joyride in Singapore not Malaysia. Tmr joyride is meant for gathering Falcon and non falcon riders to gather for chit chat, get to know each another and relax joyride in SINGAPORE.

We will only have e photo taking in Yishun Dam.. There is some issues of the joyride. Tmr night at e meetup lets discuss abt how to go abt e route.

PLEASE do take note that any vehs tat makes up to e nos of 5 vehs considers as illegal assembly. There might be some problem of e bikes travelling together.

The speed limit indicates the maximum speed that motor vehicles are allowed to travel on the road. Unless otherwise stated, the speed limit of all roads in Singapore is 50km/h.

Factors that Determine the Speed Limits

There is a need to balance the safety of all road users and the efficiency of the road network. The factors to consider are mainly:

The characteristics of the road, such as its width, presence of road crest and sharpness of bends that may affect motorists' sight-distance judgement for safe stopping in an emergency;

The profile of road users at a particular stretch of road. For example, roads with high pedestrian traffic, particularly the elderly and children, or roads used regularly by heavy vehicles would require lower speed limits; and

The surrounding land use. Road speed limits in residential areas should be restricted for safety reasons.

In addition, accident statistics and public feedback are also taken into account when reviewing speed limits.

Exceptions

The speed limit shall not apply to any:

Fire engine used for the purpose of extinguishing fires, of preserving life and property in case of fire or of aiding or rescuing persons in danger, or in case of an accident;

Ambulance used for the purpose of aiding or rescuing persons in danger, or in case of an accident; or

Motor vehicle owned by the Government and used by the Singapore Police Force or the Singapore Civil Defence Force for the purpose of executing the functions of the Singapore Police Force or the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

Responsibilities of Road Users

While the speed limit signs serve to guide us on our driving speeds on the road, motorists should continue to exercise their judgment and adjust their speeds accordingly where necessary, to ensure their safety and that of other road users. We should not exceed the speed limit of our vehicle or the road, whichever is the lower.

Speeding remains one of the main causes of accidents. Driving or riding beyond the stipulated speed limits increases the likelihood of serious injuries in the event of an accident. Life is precious. Use the roads responsibly. Together, we can make our roads safer.

newbie here also got suggestion.

i think if 25 bikes all travel together, at some point of time sure get split up due to traffic lights and traffice conditions.

so, maybe

1) meet up at LC Foodcourt

2) 2300 move out, as much as possible stay in a group, but generally OTOT and MEET at Selegie Tou Hua for supper. (again due to possible parking constraint and queuing-up-for-food constraint, maybe we can go Lau Pat Sat satay club for teh tarik or bandung)

3) Ride as CONVOY to Yishun Dam

its just a suggestion. lesser place to go = lesser confusion = no traffic violations = no accidents

My opinion is the "Iteneries" is getting more messy... I suggest we skip the "makan2" part. The focus here is to JOYRIDE and know each other better.Of cos,those who want makan & drink can go always to LC foodcourt early.

My suggestion is.... Just meet at LC foodcourt - go Marina Barage take photo & get to know each other - ends it at Yishun Dam.

Short & Simple. No Confusion. No headache.

Do not try to be fast, self control and i am sure you can do it.

Ego is something very tempting. but i do not want to see any of us up on the paper as part of some "speed cutting operation".

all of your support in coming for the kopi is much appreciated by the organiser and i am sure your self control on the throttle would be even more appreciated.
