What Kiriyama directed you is a very good information center for Hayabusa, go check it out and get yourself some interesting understandings.

Key to buy Hayabusa is ... Don't rush into it ! :D

Frankly, 14k for a 2001 model is high price and moreover 95k mileage ... :giddy:

99 model going around 9K+, 00 model going 10k+, 01 model going 11k-12k. Afterall Suzuki vehicle insurance is ok compare to others, 2nd party is going les than 1k. So ... ... There is no big deal for 14otr.

In every 30k mileagae Hayabusa need to go through a major maintainences check. When Busa reaches 60k onwards ... and than leads to next 90k, they have some serious maintainence needs to ne done. Especially at 90k !

You don't know the history, what you hear is all talking ... What is the truth ? Has the major service been done ? This 90k service can cost you from 700-1400 depends on how stingy the owner is. :p

Happy searching and hope you can get what you wanted ... ... ... :goodluck:

Hmmm....ur rite..coz the mileage very hgh. but d 14k includes a 5 mth warranty in paper and new paintwork as well as 6 mths xtra rd tax and insurance(im 21 so my insurance cost abt 1k).. so taking dis will keep my monthly low...

if d mileage has reached 90k...wat kind of major servicing needs to be done? wat do u guys recommend? anyway..its FT plate..COE 5 yrs to go. wif 5 mths warranty...gd idea? thx for d reply.

if buy new bike ====> no probs

if buy 2nd hand bike ====> take time look around

if possible check out history n previous owner of the bike eg. was it well maintained n accidents n etc...

good luck n have fun if a BUSA is what u wants... :thumb:

Hi,

I'm not sure whether this has been discussed before but from the hayabusa.org it seem that most busa owner there agree on 87 octane rating = RON 91. In Malaysia we have RON 92 and RON 97. Should I use 92 or 97? As from the forum, RON higher than 91 doesn't give any advantage to busa. What say you? Thanks

RON which is called Research Octane Numbers. Putting aside that complicated chemical breakdown and different addictive has been used across the globe.

Higher RON has better effects in engine compression. Better effects means better performance in pick-up and top speed.

If you are cruising on the highway most time, the low RON can provides you the same job done with less cost. :p

So now you know ... depends on how you want to play around it. :D

Thanks NA,

How much is a liter of RON 92 there?

In Thailand NOW, they have RON 91 and RON 95 but we have to be careful coz most RON 95 are gasohol (with 10% alcohol) which is a no no for carb bike and unsure for FI bike. Most of us are safe coz busa can take RON 91 up. Just FYI.
