its possible to hav 400km on full tank even in spore rds..as long as able to maintain abt 19 to 20 km/ltr.. i often pull to abt 4 rpm and clutch in, let it glide thru d rds.. but nt sure if freq using dis method will damage d system. any feedbacks NA?

damn.. rpm 4 den clutch in n let ur bike glide???????

wow.. tat's a tedious riding method man.. but really.. ups :thumb: for ur effort if u shld constantly maintain such a technique..

but.. but.. letting a busa glide most of the time seems to defeat its very main purpose..

well, juz my point of view.. but nontheless, do take some pics/evidents tat ur stock bike can travel 400km.. i'd seriously love to see.. i believe tat alot of us here wld love to see it as well.

no hard feelings or wadsoeva, juz take it tat we're sharing vital info to help our bikes consume less petrol

i believe its possible hitting 400km on a full tank.....

i get 24km/L riding at 90km/h constantly... meaning only purely highway riding.

but no way i'm going to try going 400km riding at 90km/h all the way... :p

haha.. it is a tedious riding technique bt im used to it..buyin a busa to ride to skool and gettin out once in a while already defeat d purpose of gettin a busa esp in spore rds..how fast can u go. still newbie, juz get it 2 get d thrill while still young(damn gd and nice bike). also fuel cost rising so...

abt 4 rpm will be abt 120km/hr so not too slow riding. my idle spd abt 1 rpm. yellow lights flash abt 340km plus and my reserve d most ive gone was abt 60 km. so ive manage 2 go 400km couple of times..and also i oways fill my tank all d way to d brim. will last me a week of daily riding. but no kidding, ride fast and clutch in and let it glide saves more fuel than maintainin at a const low spd. will try 2 get proof for u kelvin. do share if uve got tips on optimizin d busa!

and another ting is that, i can neva get 400km wen i pass by town areas couple of times coz d traffic jams always screw up my fuel consumptions.. thats also another factor. clutch in and glide obviously use less petrol wif same distance..juz tiring but d hydraulic clutch helps a lot!

just a note: the km/l on our meter is NOT correct...it is slightly more than actual...eg 20km/l is 19km/l..this I also have proof...hee...hee..

damn!! it wld be hard for me to be disciplined enuff to get my bike up to 4 rpm den let it glide thru.. hahaha..

u r rite tat the main purpose of our bikes wld have been defeated whn we got it out on S'pore roads.. I 2nd ur comment that the bike is 'damn gd and nice bike' woooo.. its virtually impeccable!!

as for me, i'd always try slower acceleration, making sure my tires are of the rite pressure, riding on non-peak hrs.. all these, i can only attain 310km. I'm not sure abt using us the 60km reserve tank as i'm more of a risk averse.. dun wanna b caught up in a no fuel situation... haha..

i do agree tat in traffic congestions, our bikes consumes more petrol.. tat's y i always try to avoid such timings..

perhaps i will try out ur technique and let u noe of the outcome soon..
