Btw, mines the ABS version, so there are like ten times as many hoses running around. The non-abs brakes should be another notch better. :thumb:

But in this kinda weather, the ABS does come in really handy. I can confidently brake over white lines and arrows. Its surprising how much front wheel grip there is even on wet roads, something I've never gotten the courage to try on non-abs bikes.

haha... the knowledge of having good brakes will lead u to do dumb things.. :cheeky: remember the truck on the highway?

anyway.. bikes our weight demand the torque from that extra 53cc to lug it ard faster.. the more the merrier :cheeky:

Strange, many had tested and review that the restriction is at the top gear. It is interesting to see a different opinion thou.. Cant wait to see the un-restricted form. Btw so far there is no de-restrictor for the 14. How is the owner going to bypass it?

the restriction will be for top speed run in top gear (something that i didn't try cuz his bike still under run-in),

well, i'm referring to the timing retardation and the secondary butterflies cutting the intake causing the restriction...

Currently at 1700+km.

I think you guys will get answers from Kaieiru and Kiri, cos I'm not the type who goes bouncing off redline in every gear... hee hee

Btw, the Hayabusa with full system is incredibly responsive. I can't believe a 1.3 litre bike can be this revvy.

It will be good to see it. Let us know if there is any test run anywhere. We will be glad to take a look. :thumb:

Well, if you know me, I don't like to push the bike on straight roads, so that part would be covered by my seasoned high speed Busa friends :thumb:

I can give feedback on how the bike is as a daily bike though, but that belongs to a ZZR1400 thread.

I'm not starting one yet cos seems like I'll just be chatting with myself :D

yes.. it's 4 pots.. but the pistons are bigger than the 6 pots individually...

also lesser pistons = lesser likelyhood of failure and lesser replacement parts (o-rings)

Talking about brake. I found this while I was up north.

Have you all seen this before?

I wonder if it really works and can be fitted into our brake system.

it shld work on most hydraulic brake systems however unlike the real ABS which requires sensors and an onboard computer to regulate the braking this mechanical version will not be as effective, even wore counter-effective..

Hey ! You got yourself a 2008 model before Japan Suzuki announce the new launch. LOL ... Great job by the way.

This is something I have telling every Busa owners who looking into servicing or change their OEM forks, get the GSXR1000R K3&K4 front replacement is a promising rewarding mods. These forks with better internals and carbon coated inners tubes + radial mounted brake calipers beats the Busa OEM hands down. Best of all ... they are OEM, easy parts available !!!

Nice and thanks for sharing kaieiru (change no.? sms you always no reply).

Items no proper testing, no local vendors selling, no massive good end user reviews, not convincing, I will never try. Trying out brake system can cause your life off, please think thrice.

Prevention is better than cure.

my # still the same juz that you caught me at the wrong time the last few months cuz having my projects and exams... quite swarmed..

anyway, the brakes and handling was greatly improved a good choice of upgrade..

ps. I'm using the K6 forks so the mounting of the radial calipers have minor changes over the k3/k4 :thumb:
