i juz want to pen down in words my opinion, cannot mah

 

i have read Dr. C. I. Scofield works which lead me to have a glimps on dispensation.

Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (August 19, 1843 - July 24, 1921)

The dispensation i would find most beneficial is the one found in the New Testament. Why is it so important to me? i will show how "law man" church twist the Scripture in the 4 gospels to be commandments, rules for their members to obey ... for instance:

 

Matt 13:46 and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.

The story is about Jesus giving up His life to redeem us.

 

The "law man" church" will twist this parable to become : you have to earn salvation (the pearl of great value), give up ALL you have ... yr time, yr money etc for the "law man" church.

 

You never see "ghost" before ... so you not afraid of the dark.

Dark forces are in the cults, quoting scriptures out of context and make christianity to be another religion. Putting bondages on their members ... which bind them as slaves

 

can you also pen down your tots on this dispensation here

 

 

you have to do a proper intro before you embark on presentation lah bro... citing references ....

 

because most ppl do not bother to read ....and it up to our ounes to the right thing starting with what we want to say ....give historical back ground ...who had done their work ...what other method was there .(no need to name all ...just a few like 3-4 for comparation and use what you have learn to compare and contrast the few ....then sum it up in the conclusion like what was cut and paste... don't just stick to one...as most of this neo-doctrine it's just hypothesis .....

Amen. brother Timothy (Paul's disciple) was like that. That's why the epistle of Timothy was for such a person. He fought and debated so much with the church until he has forgotten the origin of his believes.

my experience in the "law man" church ... is beri performance-orientated one hor ... must submit how many people you reach out to, how many people you follow-up, how long did you pray, did you fall into sin ... etc to your mentor that is assigned to you.

This chapter was quite boring and pointless to me until I was taught that the gospel message is hidden in the order of the names!

 

What do I mean?

If you heard from someone in traditional church who told you miracles stop at book of revelation - he may have read it somewhere & not necessary represents his church.

 

Actually sometimes ppl here are confused what is doctrine & what is not.

 

Last sat at the orphanage, I spoken to a student who is third year sudent of Spore Bible College (very traditional & conservative BC) . I asked him - were you taught any doctrines that healing & speaking in tongues stopped 2000 yrs ago? Answer is no. Any Bible verses say no more tongues or healing after Revelation? Answer is no for both. I also spoke to a ex-Bible Presybertian church elder in my church - same answer. To these traditional churches , there neither condoning nor rejecting; they are silent on all these. So you see, these are truth. Even my younger brother who is a staunch bible-presbyterian church elder, who is stricken with incurable psoriasis for 25 years, was healed 6 months ago; the minute he believed in James 5:14-15. Forget about all those doctrines & theology - just look at the physical truth!

 

 

There are some questionable religious websites who strongly debate that healing & all gifts of the Spirit stops 2000 yrs ago - but that obviously is in direct contradiction to the scripture. If you analyse the explanations - you will see that they are based on human assumptions & the assumptions contradict scriptures. They are lies to confuse those who are weak in their bible knowledge.

 

Even my friend James Ho (Fazer 600), who is a bible presbyterian church cell grp leader said that healing do happens once a while. I think some of you met him in the Pengyabong trip. He also said the same thing as the SBC student I met.

 

I hope now the truth will set all of us free - There is no doctrines against healings in the major traditional churches I know of.

Job 11:4 (King James Version)

For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean (H1249) in thine eyes.

 

H1249 בַּר bar (bar) adj.

1. beloved

2. also pure, empty

 

Hence doctrine in my opinion … should be teaching that teaches that we are beloved in God’s eyes.

 

Doctrine = teaching that teaches that we are beloved in God’s eyes.

Which to me is translated as Pure Grace.

The word "confess" is our English translation of the Greek word homologeo. Homologeo is a combination of two words, logeo means "to speak", homo means "the same." Thus, homologeo or "confess" means to "say the same". Confession is not begging for forgiveness; it is saying the same thing about your sin that God says. Confession is an agreement with God that you have sinned.

When I confess my sin, I am not saying, "God, please forgive me." When you became a Christian, how much of your sin did God forgive? The Bible says, "... your sins are forgiven you for His name's sake" (1 John 2:12). All of your sin is forgiven. Confession is not a matter of forgiveness; it is a matter of agreeing with God that Jesus has already paid the penalty for all of my sin, and it doesn't have to be paid again. You are already forgiven; confession is just agreeing with God that you are at fault, and that these specific named sins are totally and completely forgiven through the death of Jesus."

Hebrews 10:12 one sacrifice for sin for all time

Christ's sacrificial death is the basis for all your sins - past, present, and future to be completely forgiven, we need to homologeo (confess) that it is true. We need to say the same about our sins ….. that is “they are all paid for” and with that revelation, I can feel justified and continue my walk with my Daddy God without any guilt and fear.

This is the new covenant confession, not the kind of beating your chest beating type of confession that is being taught in the religious circle.
