Accident Witness Thread

When something happens, it's usually my words against yours. Many a times, we need the cruicial witness, but at that moment, more often than not, we are unable to get one as we are occupied with something else.

 

There are many threads/posts all over SG bikes looking for witness, or witnesses looking for the related incident.

 

I thought of having one single thread where, if you are looking for a witness, just post the incident description, and hope your witness is here.

 

Or if you are a witness, you can come here to see if you can contact the affected persons to offer your help.

This is a gd thread bro.

Some witnesses find it troublesome to come forward due to time etc.

But i really salute those who come forward as they cud help the victim in alot of ways.

Justice must be made for those offenders.

I support this thread 100%.

This thread is a nice idea, but its utility is questionable. Firstly, not all bikers surf this forum. Many motorcyclists do not even know of its existence, which reduces its utility. Also, what if your witness is a pedestrian, car or lorry driver? This reduces the chances of that said person coming across this thread.

 

While there may be some coincidental link ups of victims and witnesses via this thread, its overall impact is questionable. I hope to be wrong, but I think finding a witness via this thread is at best a long shot.

 

Witnesses should contact traffic police directly for the best chances of offering assistance to victims requiring witnesses.

well...i agree, but it's a start... . its a fact that there are such threads all over the place, so one thread better than multiple threads rite?

i agree.. hahaha.. looking for witness.. minor accident at handy road.. between car and bike.. happened at around 11.30 am - 12 pm.. on 15/03/2010 .. thanksss... if you really happened to witness it. i hope you could help me. lol..

Sometimes it seems not viable till it happens to us or some one we know.
