hello fellow riders.can you giv me some tips.just bought a gpr first generation pipe.after fixing it i find that the sound isnt what i wanted.ive heard a few riders with this pipe has a bass sound.the sound is loud yet pretty awful(without silencer).thanks.ride safe.

check for leaks.

 

start bike. rev for awhile. DO NOT touch the pipe. just put your hand close by and feel if there is any air leakage around the whole pipe when you throttle.

1st gen gpr (long type rite?) .

Theres a diff sound for diff modifications (engine) on bike . if ur bike is stock the sound is diff from the mod. like mine , now im using gpr titanium w/out silencer (Mod bike) . before modding the bike the sound of the bass barely hear it. now its awesome . got to be alert for tp too..hehe, hope this helps bro ! cheers!

but bro, what kind of mod u are refering to? issit the carb setting etc to suit the pipe?
