Btw I used to ride a Transalp 400. Didn't do any touring on it at all, jus for transport. Ald sold it n change to my current RE. I'm a noob to bikes tho I've been riding for a while. I onli send my previous rides to bike shops for servicing....so reali got lots lots of things to learn fr u guys instead

Hi REOs, I'm only a 2ber (TP test next week) so I can't own an Enfield here yet, but i just did Manali-Leh on a 350 Machismo (we left about a week before the floods hit) , and I'm in love with the bike and will have it come September 2011 haha, so maybe see you then!

All the best with your TP! Be patient and hang in there... all of us have to go through the stages especially when we just drool over the bigger cc bikes. It'll be all worth it!! Makes you appreciate your bike and the freedom of riding even more!!

Hi, sure tere is vibes....think it's bcos of the single cylinder carb tat causes the bearable vibes (depends on individual I guess). For me, I used to ride scram n tourer...took me abt 4-5 days to get use to it tho

i was thinking of taking royal enfield as my next bike( say 6 mths frm now, after graduating).

 

i'm into old school, slow, military style bike

 

currently riding RXK, n planning to take 2a smtime in May.

 

a few questions to ask;

 

1. is there like showroom to showcase RE bikes. coz i only see a few here and there at bike shop along lavender.

 

2. how bout maintenance?? is it easy to find spare parts (coz like RXK, can easily find in bikeshops, and parts are interchangebale wif RXK or CG125)

 

3. where do u guys go for servicing??
