hey!!! haha, i was number 9. not sure if u could still remember me but we definetely rode together haha!! I finally managed to get a dealer from carousell for bajaj pulsar ns200! Will be collecting the bike tonite, i cant wait. FELT the same like waiting for the result haha.

 

Hows CB150R. The retro looking bike looks cool. How is it compare to the sch one? The bike im getting feels heavy but stable, i like the posture of it.

Wow bajaj pulsar ns200, looks a bit like sport bike but posture look like naked bike? ? looks bigger and heavier than sch bike…u manage to test ride it?!

At 1st I kind of regret getting CB150R,

1.it's too tall for me, im 160cm tip toeing literally like ballet that kind of tip toe. Meaning I cannot reverse when I am on the bike. (but I got it lower already)

2. posture feels weird compared to sch bike, so i dare not lean with the bike (my carpark is spiral one, need to lean or else will end up at the outter lane which is the coming down lane =.=

3. (still a regret) And I thought I could modify the seat into more cafe racer style without being illegal and/or will affect the resale value. For this part should have gotten W175 ☹

 

But after riding for a few days I realize it is just me being scare la and no confident. Now I like how it rides over cb190(just the overall feel la I hate 190 LOL) Definitely more stable than the small MSX sch bike especially on highspeed wont feel like the bike might fly off with me.

Anyways, i accidentally clipped a car mirror at the red light junction. Apologised to the driver and adjusted the mirror back but he didn ask for my particulars so I rode off when traffic is green. But then he still followed me to the next junction, when i look at him he took his phone and snap a pic. Sigh.. Definetly gona get some love letter from insurance company. Dats 1st day of riding to work.

 

But i love the bike! its bigger and more stable than the school cb190r(great bike). Will need some time to get right.

 

How long did it take u to get the leaning thingy? My bike, i still don dare yet aha. U-turns still stiff like rock. But during the test, saw u U-turn like a pro!!

 

Anyways, actually i been looking around this forum for quite some time. ssdc 2017 or 16 maybe. Some of the advice are really great and it helps. Maybe u wana pen down some more thoughts(TP) especially? haha, i will be doing it soon.

Hello we are just observing safe riding distance lol.

 

Clipped car mirror if can adjust back means not broken right..then he nv wind down window…weird leh him..think should be fine la. But you lane split is it. So daring ar just pass lane split liao?

 

Hmm think took me 1 or 2 long ride to start leaning like a second nature. I think as long as u get use to that bike u riding u will auto lean already.

My U turn bluff pple one la…I now can avoid U turn I just avoid…I very scare I will stall and fall, need to fine time and place to practice my u turn and clutch control lol.

Got once I got honk cause I didn’t realie the green arrow (cause I stop after seeing red light forgot it will turn to green arrow.) then I panic cause of the honk then I U turn with front brake and super wide until I almost at kerb LOL. Lucky nv fall la.

But when no stress from behind I still can U turn properly. It is my confidence issue la lol. Last time always do with sch bike so not much fear + got cage. This one own bike and no cage will scare lol.

 

Your thoughts will be enough hehe. I just answer Q when I can..a bit lazy and don’t know what to write leh lol.

After stopping at the 2nd stopline, trafficlight, uturn, we need to check back left.. at (trafficlight) after inc forward we need to check back on the left or right before moving off?

 

Are we able to kick down gear afew times to ensure its gear 1? If stopped at N are we able to kick down gear without - point ?

For u turn, yup need to check back left. After inch forward, check back left, then check blind sport right before u throttle for u turn(move off).

 

before u reach the junction, just kick down to first gear. 5x should be more than enough. The TP confirm check u turn, so no worries.

 

Once u step down ur right leg for Neutral during the test(except e brake), its already game over. No worries, you will get it right.

Aha, yeah. The safety distance is important. But we also have to execute the plank technique! =). Expressway during peak hour is real tough, honestly I dont mind more practice. For my travel to work, tampines to pioneer,I could not escape the jam. It is scary. Planking between lane 2 and 3 is no go coz of lorry and trailer. Better option is lane 1 and 2, but theres taxi and fast drivers who wanted to switch to lane 1. Not a joy ride actually.

 

I usually left my laptop to work, so one day when have enough time. I'll share my long but overdue story of my journey of class 2b in SSDC.

waa bro, 26 ppts really close! It means u are there already. i accumulated more than 40pts for my first prac7 and more than 30 pts with immmediate failure for my 2nd.

 

Could actually smell ur tp by the end of the mth soon. You will get there!! Treasure this time bro, coz the next there wont be any more guidance ahaz.

no sure kana points I think is 4 points unless no one caught your mistake. If you need to right leg down because you stop in incorrect gear should be 4 points not immediate failure if im not wrong.

 

Just kick hard many times make sure it's in gear 1. no other way.

Chey means you lane splitting la. What u v garang... I only lane split for a very very short while when in JB to get to the correct lane. Other than that in expressway JAM i still just wait behind cars LOL.

Just wondering whats the estimate waiting time for tp test? Some people i asked said the average time around 1.5 months. Is that true?
