Rev Club July 2010 Sepang Private Session.

Hi Guys,

 

 

The Rev Club is pleased to announce our next trackday outing at Sepang Circuit as follows:

 

 

• Friday 23 July 10 : 1600 – 1900 hrs (3 hours)

 

• Saturday 24 July 10: 0800 – 1100 hrs (3 hours)

 

Limited places @ SGD 175 for both sessions (full track) – drinks included

 

No refunds in case of wet weather

 

Accomodation @ KLIA Concorde Inn can be arranged, approx cost is RM 195 per night with breakfast – participants pay direct to the hotel

 

Confirmation of participation is by cash collection only, send a PM to “scooby51” with the following information:

 

Name, HP Number, Email Address, NOK Name and Contact Number, Accomodation Required -Yes/No

 

Failure to provide basic details required as above will result in non acceptance to the session.

 

Registration closes at 6pm on 12 June 10, after which only successful applicants will receive an email on how to make payment.

 

THERE WILL BE NO RESERVED PLACES FOR PAST PARTICIPANTS. Registration will be on a First Come, First Served basis.

 

Please note the following points:

 

a. Confirmation of participation will only be given upon payment.

 

b. There will be no refunds for withdrawals after 11 July ‘10 so plan ahead wisely.

 

c. There will also be no refunds if the track is closed due to inclement weather

 

 

This is a non-profit trackday for like- minded riders with a concern for safety. Booking of the track is done immediately after confirmation and as such, refunds will not be possible after payment.

 

A marshal-led convoy will be arranged both ways, safety briefings and 4 lap orientations will be provided.

 

Newbies are most welcome, and encouraged to attend.

 

This track day has been organised with both the seasoned trackgoer and the newbie in mind. As frequent trackday junkies, we know how intimidating it can be for non-racers and those who are new to trackdays, to join "Open" trackdays where riders of all calibre mix it it up on the track, with predictable consequences.

 

Decide quickly if you want to join in this track event as places can go very fast.

 

As always, we try to meet all expectations to ensure you have a safe trackday as possible.

Thanks for your support and on behalf of Scooby51 - We will get back to you.

 

For those that want to do a little sport touring, a few buddies and I will be riding up to Genting Highlands on Sunday morning via AWANA, the day after the 2nd track day for a quick ice blended (discount if you turn up in leathers - no joke) in the early morning, followed by a late afternoon ride back to Singapore.

 

But please note that this is not part of the Rev Club trackday, just an informal, spirited ride.

 

Brand new tyres cooked in 3 days - that's my kind of holiday.

Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified. Unfortunately, we have had to turn some away due to incomplete PM submissions (no email address, contact details, or NOK contacts etc.). Late submissions will be placed on our waiting list.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of complete submissions, as this reduces the administrative burden on those of us who are organising this not-for-profit track weekend at our own time and expense. We simply do not have the time to go back and forth with you on the PM or SMS channel to get YOUR data right. Also, if you cannot get your ship in order, there are tens of other people who can and will take your place. Several participants, who happen to be busy CEOs and MDs of large companies, have taken the time and trouble to send us personal PMs with complete data. There is simply no excuse for the rest of us not to follow the simple requirements for admission.

Scooby51 just finished making up the participant list after going through all the enrolments sent in.

 

We just vetted last night and will be sending out emails by this Friday.

 

As Throttlestop mentioned, only confirmed participants will get the email with payment instructions.

 

Those not included, will receive no such email.

We'll look into confirming the next session when we are there with Sepang, if there are no changes, there should be another 2 track weekend events organised for 2010.

 

For Ducati owners - there might be a special Ducati trackday in Aug or Sept '10 in Sepang so keep your ears perked for news out of Minerva.
