After about a yours sojourn, I shall finally be returning to singapore. After 5 years of highschool/secondary, I ventured back to the US to take care of my grandparents for a year. Now I will be returning to singapore.

Things are different and after driving in the US, I cant help but get some form of transportation. My goal? Motorcycle.

My problem is I have no idea what the Cycle market is like in Singapore and have limited knowledge of the restrictions.

My goal is to get something between a 250cc to a 600cc bike, love the gixxers. I honestly love the gsxr 400 R and the 600, but im not all too picky. Just something fun and flickable, preferably in a sport bike shape.

I just posted here to ask a couple questions before my speedy return.

Firstly: What is the availability of bikes like the gixxers? I have not seen any sites that even post prices etc.

Secondly: What are some of the laws and regulations on the bikes that I might not be aware of? Singapore laws are not the same as most places so its important I figure it out.

Thirdly: Singapore using those cash card devices for the erp(sp?) and everything else. What do I need to have my bike licensed and ready for use?

Thank you alot for your input

In USA driving r Right hand traffic country.

In Singapore v r Left Hand Traffic Country.

My anutie a USA PR, rented a car in sg during her holiday, almost get into accident due to these differential.

So Ride slowly and carefully.

Lastly, Singapore is a city, everyone is rushing for TIME. It's a bit stress riding or driving here.

Lookout for the taxi and lorry. They r rushing for TIME & FOOD.:)
