Hit,run,chase,got him..and run again..worst taxi driver ever

Guysss...Update...TP finally doing their job...

my witness call me and inform me that the IO have called them and ask them if they willng to be in court as witness cos the driver is denying and tp will bring him to court..hope he receive a sentence match his bad deed.

 

 

 

Hi guys..i wanna share my bad experiece of accident or i shall say incident too..

 

On 26th saturday about 7pm, i was working part time as delivery rider. Was riding on a company bike at buangkok drive after exiting from kpe. i was at 2nd lane as 3rd lane theres slower motorcyclist.

 

Suddenly i feel a bang in my right elbow and it bang my knuckle which in on throttle ..i den realised i been hit or grind by a taxi which trying to overtake me..guess the side mirror of the taxi which hit me. My bike wobble and swerving or some call it fishtail. but glad i managed to get back control by intermittance braking.

 

then i realise the taxi is still continue moving and trying to run. thats where i try to give him a chase. so i chase him until at left turn filter when the taxi have to stop to give way to main road traffic..

 

I stop at the left side of the taxi. i knock his window and shouted to him to stop. to my shock he just move off and try to run again.. there i keep on chasing while memerizing the taxi plate no which is SHB 1179 silvercab.

 

Finally theres a pedestrian redlight he have to stop..i stop my bike infront of him n walk to his drive side window. I shouted him to step out of the car..he wind down his window and said lets go nearby carpark to settle this..i said no as he might try to run again..suddenly he just move on again and try so squeeze between my bike n empty space..hit the bike and run off..

 

I didnt give a chase this time round as i try to think wiser..i got his plate no.

i called 999 immediately tell them wat happened..after that i when 2 nearby bus stop..

 

Two nice lady came to me and offer me her contact no. incase i need a witness as she said she saw wat happened.

 

After that i went to seek medical attention and got a 3 days mc.. then made a police report at nearby npc to make a report and ive included the 2 witness names and contact no.

 

The police officer said this is a serious case..but at the point of time he said he wasnt sure if this a tp case of a normal police case but he still fax the report to tp..im not sure too which will serve the driver better..

 

so wat do u guys think will happen now?tp take action?..no call from tp since saturday..

 

and if the driver get caught..what worse will happened to him?revoke?imprison?fine?

 

im really pissed off with the driver till now..

incase if the driver see this..i wish i cud visit u in prison someday.

 

So guys pls lookout for this driver shb1179g..i wast sure bout the last one alphabet..but police say no prob as i got the main 4 digit no.

 

Hes really dangerous n might kill someone if he didnt get caught...ride safe guys.

sorry to hear that.... with any luck the police SHOULD take action. I got side swiped on the expressway also... and also did the same as you did (without the chasing of course... small 2B bike cannot chase any car on the expressway, but i got the license plate) and reported.

 

Been one year plus already and no picture no sound from the police.... think case has been swept under the rug along with so many others.... unless its very serious got serious injury or fatality, they won't bother with kucing kurap case.

 

Unless i got the suspect trapped with nowhere to go.... then that's when calling the police will be useful.

Time to up the ante - stomp it, complain to taxi company; they have very serious rules regarding dangerous driving last time I checked, so with witness support some justice may at least be achieved while the authorities sit on it.

u can claim medical as well as vehicle damage.

creedmaniac: im glad to hear that at least you're alright, a lot of **** could have happened each time you gave chase. bike damage can repair, but whats more important is that you survived the incident. let the law take care of the stupid driver.

 

if the police doesnt do anything, go straight to the taxi company and lodge the complaint. you have the plate no, the guy cant run. so even if you cant put him behind bars, at least some disciplinary action can be taken against him. sg has way too many taxis anyway.

Please complaint to the cab company immediately and show the the police report.

Don't let the cab driver be on the road and do this to other motorists anymore!!

I had a similar experience like this a few years ago. Private car side swipe me over a bend with a pillion while making a turn at the bend out from eway near sports school.Yes.the driver force his way from my right and my bike almost got stuck in between another cab. Never stop. Gave chase and the driver lost his head at me...then drove off....lodge police report...till now no more news.. Cause main reason-got into argument with driver. Report to cab company and let this drivers rot. Spoil market.

Had an almost similar experience, lodged report and everything, a few days later TP called confirming the details, after that till now, prob at least half a year already, no news, best to call TP once in a while to checkup on your case and also go to the cab company and update them on the situation and show them the documents. And don't just let them tell you they have put this in his record or whatever reason. Must be more hard arse about it. Demand more action from them.

once an IO contact you regarding the case, keep calling him. make sure he wont forget about the case.

creed, I am glad you are alright. My friend wasn't as lucky as you. She was cremated a while ago.

 

What I think you should do is to go to your MP if you don't get any reply within a week. And are you injured terribly that you cannot work? Your loss of income should be included in your claims against the taxi driver. Go to your MP and explain your problem nicely to your MP. Ask the MP to write a letter for you. Don't wait for the police to act. They may never act. And go to the hospital if you need to. Don't visit a GP. A hospital MC will be valid. 3 days MC warrants a TP case. The cop who told you he is not sure of it ought to be penalised. How can he engage a public and express his ignorance on procedure.

 

Last but not least, ride safe and don't ride if you can't. You life is worth more than anything else.

Update guys..earlier afternoon..i gave a call to the io...he got my report and yet ask me over again about the incident. told him everything..then he said..this kind of case will take long time to investigate..but i told him i got witness names n contact in the report.yet he still ask me this..Is the witness ur frens??i said NO..and he said he will investigate it..haiz:(

It's a pity that the authorities would only bother to look into the matter only when grievious hurt or death occurs. They should look into all these small cases that may lead to bigger ones; timely intervention is necessary to educate these type of motorists on their anti-social behaviour on the road.

i hope justice prevails for you. i got hit and run by a car against my car 2 years ago, i got the number plate and make/color of car and made police report but i never heard back from them. sibei dulan, just drive past me and speed away. CNG car somemore, environmentally friendly PRICKS!
