sorry to hear about that man...in all honesty i feel the same way too...Take it as a lesson and try to think of it in a positive way such as you are still alive...The law it seems does not do much for us two wheelers sometimes... Hope you recover fast man..

how many lanes are there? so he cut into ur lane from the minor road? you could file a police report. I suggest you go to the hospital for full assessment of your injuries. If police investigates that he's at fault, you could get a hefty sum just by ur injuries eg abrasions

Posted

oh and all these claims i suggest you make it through a lawyer. abrasions on the knees alone can be 1.5k. ur lawyer will do the negotiations for you. assuming he's rich, he would most likely settle it out of court with ur lawyer rather den go to court to fight. of course it will be very favourable if the TP investigation shows he's at fault

Man, we are seeing a lot of such ruthless drivers on the road recently; ride safe people!

Try to spot them coming before they do their kamikaze moves across the highway. I created a new habit of looking over the divider before the lanes merge. Can warn you if some reckless bloke is charging out without looking.

yeah.. prevention is better than cure..

Make it a good habit to look for motorist (be it bike or car) coming out from small road.

And also at cross junction, even if traffic light is green at your favour, just look out to see if any fuc*** want to chiong to make right turn.

It's better to be late then never arrive.

what to do man.

read the straits time today!

they still put that drivers are more considerate now compared to last time.

i think other wise.

just look at how drivers drive nowadays:

they hog between 2 lanes like a grand-prix racer taking the road making as their centre marking

anyhow suka suka change lane no signal no warning, and sometime still horn at you for not giving way for him zzzz

now the rule for right of way got change?

so many time car coming out from small road just come and take their own sweet time, even they know and can see you coming from the straight main road

try this and observe in the carpark, the turning angle of cars just got bigger though the roads remain the same and their cars are not much longer than a 14footer lorry, they tend to turn and eat into opposite lane and they see you like no see you like, maciam you wrong like that

so sain and bo pian to be a 2wheeler. ......

Faith enables us to transform not only our day to day problems, but our lives at their very foundation.

Learn defensive riding.I did mine as well as defensive driving. It would save your ass and your bike.Trust me majority drivers didnt know the true power nor speed of bikes. They just assume that bike cannot outrun cars thats all plus in Sillypore you kiss behind you're wrong.Next time you come across those situation,Be prepared to check and change lane if safe to do so or just standby your brakes if lan2.Remember they're on 4 wheels while you're 2,Either way you fall.Track their licence plate if they guai lan,Saw at JB give them a good long scratch on their cars,Hahaha

Yes it's unfair. That is why we must assume that the law offers us no protection whenever we ride (even though it does in some ways). Think of it positively - you are alive and well and still riding!
