3.2L should be for Vtech.

Obviously they mistook ur for a VTEC cuz of the colour or the ripping u off by saying it's actually better for ur bike, which is not.

If u dun believe me, check the forum for exact specs for Ver S.

Cheers !

so that mean for vtec2 need 3.2L engine oil izzit... but i all the way using 3L

Dude.... You don't go by MONTHS but KM when it comes to changing EO.

Take a look at the Components Price List...

There are more than 10 types to choose from.

Heard Motul 300V is the best.

I am using Royal Purple 20w50.

Good for mi. Nice and slick gear shifting.

But mileage very low as I always in other country so I change oil 9 months but filter change 6 months.

does engine oil hav any life span once its poured into the engine ?? wat if he seldom ride, like 5000 km in 6 mths... then he change oil every 6 mths ??

I think go by mileage is a good as my mileage is about 4000km per year oil u dont change but oil filter u must change every 6 months as filter is made from

material that doesnt last and if I am not wrong is made from some kind of paper so after putting it in oil for long time it will corrude off. That y u see those super long milage can last for 12000km but recommanded filter change every 5000km or 6 months which ever come first.

The more I ride my SV, the less I care about going to the annual bike show and looking at new,

or expensive, or exotic machinery. I'm continuing to mod my bike into exactly what I want it,

and enjoying every mile I put on it.

in doubt ... how do you actually chane filter without changing the EO ???

meaning the filter itself contain some oil then you pour in more oil after changing huh ???

or you just change and do nothing ???

Normally oil filter is change together with engine oil, if you just want to change the oil filter, you need to drain out the engine oil first if not all the engine oil will leak out once you remove the oil filter.

And its not advisable to pour back the used engine oil into the engine again, as the container you used to hold use engine oil might be dirty.

No need to drain out as all the oil is in oil sump but oil filter is located above it

But oil filter do contain some oil inside and u need to top up the different is about 200ml. i changed this week before I leave singapore. The oil flowed out still purple in colour so my oil still very new even I changed it this june.

I bought a new bottle to top up the difference. To mi is cheaper and not so messy.
