3.2 l unless u overhaul ur bike?

U used 3.8l I suggest u drain out the excess oil. A too high oil pressure is no good but I forget why....

Excess engine oil will flow through your breather tube and down to the drain pipe. But too much could cause the seals and gaskets in your oil sink and gearbox to leak.

my god..no wonder my engine has oil stain after some riding ... must be due to too much engine oil. This is the amount recommended by the bike shop at BB....

similar to wat u use for ur car. except that u hv to use those meant for bikes.

some use fully syn, some use semi syn, some mineral oil. bascially, the better grade of oil u use the longer period of time it will stay stable.

for my case, I'm using esso gold. change around 7-8k km.

Posted

ppl say

semi synthetic - 3000km change

fully synthetic - 5000km change

oil filter change with every engine oil change

air filter and plugs change with every 10000km

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

for me, i ride vtec1, engine oil i use esso pace $9. even though semi synthetic but every 5000km i change. ok for me leh.. not much difference.. but i dun wack like mad la.. original honda oil filter, original honda ngk plugs (red package), original honda air filter. FC 22+km/l

so every 5000km i change engine oil and oil filter

every 10000km i change whole set. engine oil, oil filter, plugs, air filter.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

alot of brands on market la.. see ur own preference lo.. but i use esso pace cuz popular..
