Thx for the advice bro, just came back from Cambodia,Koh Hong,Sihanoukville,Phnom Pehn and Siem reap with my beloved wave.Saw a thai riding a wave 100 from Bkk to Sadao and he tell me slow is beautiful, hehe.Going to Vietnam via Dien Bien Phu from Laos with bikes under 110cc might be free and his thai friend had done b4.Maybe going next year with him.How long we live and how much we eat is predestined,so really have no time to think about danger but again thx for the advice.

How you go from Koh Kong to Sihanoukville?

Is there a ferry service? or you rode there?

Impressive!

The only reason why I'm not laughing with you is that I prefer laughing at you.

Posted (edited)

Yeah i rode from Koh Kong to Sihanoukville, took about 5 hrs to cover the first 150km of scenic riding and the remaining 90km to Sihanoukville, total distance 240km.The ferry ride is meant for passengers only and the ride took around 3 hrs plus.

As usual i make a move first, pass by Trat and the scenic coastal road at highway 318 to Khlong Yai.After an hour later,my pals came and told me that they were busted by the cops at Chantaburi and were fined bht200 each thus causing the delay.Reach the Thai Cambodia border at 1pm,paid bht50 over at the cambodian custom side to fasten our immigration processing because there are a lot of caucasian tourist,u paid chop chop done with it,u don't pay queue long long hehe.Roads condition are better now compared to a couple years back, the first 150km to Sihanoukville is very nice and scenic, passing through river and mountains and of course can't compared to the scenery in Laos. After the 150km u will reach a junction,to the left is Phnom Pehn and right is Sihanoukville,u will have to travel approx 90km to Snooky.Stay at a hotel near victory hill and by then it is dark oredi, had our dinner at a restaurant at victory hill and enjoy a couple of US 50 cents beer.
