i m being very attractted to VFR itself... i noe got slot of cls2 bike to choose from, dats y very hard to choose... which bike do u more suuggest to ride in singapore for cls2???

actually i got a qns... since VFR is such a good bike, can anyone here lell me frankly why u guys wana let go??? i mean i read thru e thread, a few of u guys sold ur VFR... why?

ok i will give my opinions...

the reasons why i sold my VFR...its a 2002 model by the way...

1. I THINK its not really comfortable for 2 up riding (prefer tourer...) coz i dun really like the feeling of being "squeezed" (i'm sure guys know wad i m toking about)...

2. I always go shopping  so the heat from the bike can get very unbearable...

3. this reason is not so important but i dun really like the vtec transition...

4. i guess the FC is abit high...urmm i noe this point is very argumentative so please dun shoot me down...

other than tat i tink its a great bike...mayb if i always travel alone i would have never sold the bike...great outlook...

Hi Wing

If its a 5th genner - yes; if its 6th genner (Vtec), its a good deal.

The growl of the V4 engine with Vtec opening is simply ear pleasing.

Finally got a chance to heard a fellow Red VFR growled pass me on the upward slopes of Genting Highlands.

Koma is right in that slipper clutch is great for what it can do. I had experienced many lock ups when shifting down one too many on my VFR.

Having said that, if you want to put one on a VFR, you're probably on the wrong type of bike:confused: as it tells me you are more into spirited riding hence me think one would be better off riding an all out sports bike, say ZX10or the K5 (comes with slippers). Due to the nature (geometry and weight) of the VFR, the fun gained from the slippers alone would not be able to compensate for the fun factor lost due to the aforesaid nature to warrant such a surgery. IMHO.
