take note of leak after installations. Few guys in UK encountered this.

:thumb: for your new bike! :cheeky:

Yes, take note of leaks.

Mine already leak a couple of times.

The sealant keeps on cracking under vibration.

I had to patch it everytime.

seetch: you interested in a 2nd hand ZG smoke touring screen?

I am selling it to get HamsterZ's Givi one. lol

Hamsters and None, let you know soon. I will be in KL for the next two days. Basically I am looking for a screen tall enough to block out most air blast, at least up to my chest.

But the most crucial thing for me to get is a tank bra cos I dun want to scratch the tank when I lean on it, especially my belt buckle

Givi covers well till the neck. Can test it out. Ride at 160kmh, move your hand from your wasit up and you will know when the wind cuts in. In fact for my height (174cm), its cuts in after the neck/chin area. Shoulders are well covered

Tank pad VFR logo one hehe .. ai mai? Think i I have 1 more extra 1 coz 1 bought 3 sets, but after using the halter neck bra.... i never used the other 2 sets!. Sold 1 set though.

Some interesting product I had tried

My review on FP60:

Bike used: 42 months old VFR Vtec 2002

Engine: V4

Type: EFI

Fuel used: Malaysia ESSO F1

Number of tanks used: 3rd tank

Period used: 1 month

Any mod after using FP60: no

Performance gain: Did not feel it/no improvement

Responsiveness gain: Did not feel it/no improvement

Mileage improve: no improvement

Engine smoothness:

Bike use to start rough in the early morning.

With FP60, bike started smoother, idling more stable.

After warm up, engine is quieter, pings and dings are gone.

(Or so quiet, I cannot hear them)

Other effects:

The most obvious effect after using FP60 is that the VTEC is no longer surging forcefully @ 7k rpm, 6th gear.

I am kind of surprise that it manage to remove or reduce the amount surging.

Now VTEC transition on my bike is so smooth, I can't feel it anymore.

Will you use it again:

Depends, I am going to stop using it and see what is the outcome.

some stuff to check 1st

1. main coolant level

2. reserve coolant level

3. any leaks

4. dos the reserve side suck back n forth properly?

it depends on traffic situations... if you are stuck terrible bad, it might go up. But normal stops shouldn't be a prob..

I am not a good fan of glycerol-ed coolant after using the cool-aide coolant from maxima. After using, my VFR cooling capacity apparently improved. It fluctuates much faster bewtween high n low (moving and stop), & maintains a lower temp on e-ways constant velocities

Hence once i got the my new bike, i flushed the OEM coolant out and put in the cool-aide. Similar improvements were shown on it. Maybe you can try it on your next coolant chnage. It would be best to flsh with running water till the old coolant is cleared from the system :cheer:

Just to add ... I have tried e FP60 too. morning engine idling is much smoother and the most satisfying effect i got from the product is that throttle response at lower gears is much less snatchy. However i had a slight drop in mileage during initial usage.

I have been using fuel additive on all my trip to malaysia/thailand. Not the FP-60 but a similar product. Results are more or less the same as what you guys reported. most noticable is the smooth vtec transition. I like it but try not to use it in sg that much cos I always feel like revving the bike/ racing. My bottle is kind of messy to handle too

Hi peeps, anyone knows the price of a new VFR now? with a 1st party for a 26 yr old

eh wats the model now?

still A3?

heard the VFR logo is embossed de

not very sure but expecting about $23,800 for 25 years old w/o panniers

here's the breakdown of my as a gauge beacuse COE price n insurance is different

vehiccle price+IU+insurance+no.plate : 19,98.10

GST : 995.90

ARF : 2164.00

COE : 210.00

Reg fee : 140.00

Road tax : 128.00

Transfer fee : 244.00

total : 23,800.00

So OTR for me wa $23,800. This was from Looi's motor. I like their way of business. 1 price and tgats it. Full cash or hire purchase still the same price, and no more extra charges.

Beware of other shops when you purchase it. Make sure you name out n write down black & white. Not to forget to ask for freebies!!

A = ABS version

3 = 2003 model

now i dunnow iss called A6?

It is usually printed on the box, and stickered on the box also (refer to attached pics)

Yesh 2002~2003 models are decaled models. 2 piece on 1 side. $10 each

>2004 models are enbossed emblems.

but basically the 2002~2005 model are all the same except for color n logo difference. The 2006 models have a more cosmetic change including a better soothed out VteC transition.

Hope these helps Great to know another Viffer-to-be rider!! :cheer:
