had a slow D4 with a friend yesterday. never disappoint so far

 

hectic week comin up. lookin forward to a cigar after that

sore throat turn into dry cough....

The first Cuban Robusto in a tube - RyJ Short Churchill Tubo is available already.

I already got a box of Short Churchills so maybe can buy a tubo version to reuse the Tube?

looks like the haze is gettin to u eh, throttle? looks like u need the cigar therapy: take 3 times daily, after meals. haha...

 

speakin of which, i seem to be doin only 1 per wk. best time to buy more cigars to stock up and let them age. hehe...

This time , we review HongKong. HK is still fabulous by any standards becos you can smoke in almost any restaurant or indoor location as long as it is restricted to the smoker's area which usually is 40% of the floor space.

 

1. Cigarro (Ground flr of St Georges Building beside Oriental Mandarin)

Small but well stocked and possibly the only place in Asia to sell Cuban Davidoffs by the stick. Possibility to meet HK actors see pic

2. Red Chamber - the HK version of ConDivan located at Pedder building diagonally opposite the newly opened Louis Vuitton boutique.

Also well stocked. more spacious to accomodate smokers . see pics

3. LaCasa Del Habano - another PCC outlet. Located inside the Sheraton Hotel in TsimShaTsui. Well stocked, quite small. Mostly regulars and in my opinion, not as friendly. 2* out of 5* for friendliness

4. Cigar Express - at the Hyatt Regency and also at the Peak Galleria 2nd floor.

4* out of 5* for friendliness

 

5. La Tradicion De Cubana - along D'Aguilar St (Central) . Very small shop with usual stuff and some nice accesories. Open only after 2pm.

 

Other places to smoke a cigar includes the Peninsula Hotel (many HK actresses appear), Four Seasons Blue Lounge, Cohiba Cigar Divan at Oriental MAndarin
