jimmy's such a friendly guy. im hopin to go down someday to buy some cigars from him.

haha, yeah, at first i was just smoking it and winding down after a hard day of running around.....then i realised how solid the ash of this Cohiba Robusto was.

 

By then it was about 2 inches long so I decided to see if i could go all the way.

And I did!!

 

Even after i stopped, i could stand it on my ashtray...superb construction, man!

My lifelong dream:

To visit Cuba one day during their Habanos Festival and bid and win one of those ridiculous pricy special humidors.

 

Dun know if such a day will ever come..

of course, that's possible. Just some prior planning required.

 

I also hope to go again before Fidel dies and before they rebuilt too many tourist sights turning the place into some tourist spot in Florida.

 

But during the Habanos Festival in Feb, prices of hotels are almost double and places are crowded, rowdy and expensive. Also many cigar factories will be packed and at certain times closed for merchant visits only. Not too mention that the cigar shops around the city will be also packed. Of course the good thing is that, there'll be even more life.

Had a RyJ Cazadores '01 yesterday night.

 

Full-bodied old-school cigar right from the first puff with RyJ flavours throughout. It's not as "clean" tasting as the popular Exhibition No. 4, but in a good way. Rather good, but gotta have it with your palatte well-coated.

Cazadores is a super value for money smoke.

However, this is one of the RYJ cigars together with the Churchill which I have not taken much liking to.

 

Maybe it's time to revisit, becos i havent had one of these in a few years!!
