hi all, pity i could not make it as i'm still wif my humle wave.

 

i dunt know if this has been posted before but the hornet seems to have graced our shores. i had the chance to sit on one and try. heard from the se that it was 19k. however they were undecided among themselves whether it was pi and whether it is for export market? oh well, a few more months of waiting i guess

thanks for the wonderful trip...

 

still can smell the durian smell in my burp :D

Yep... Me smell durians whenever the team stops...

Cos I don't smell it when on the ride... me 1st bike leh.. haha..

 

But the durians we good... the estate is just behind the

durian stall..

So the durians are fresh...

 

 

Rocketman: U are close on the price... 19K.

High cos of the Euro...

Looks like same price as the hornet 900...

:p

They are both great bikes...

For all round use...

Date: 8 July 2007 Sunday Morning

Meet: 9am Petronas 2nd Link

 

The Durian Estate is At Batu Pahat

(near where we had our delicious goreng pisang-bananas fitters)

 

Estate belongs to Friend of Alvin (white st)

He is leading a group of 10 this coming sunday.

He had open the ride to our team...

 

So if u are interested... now is the season to head for durians...

it is always good to have a road trip...

 

to add to the bonus, good company, tasty breakfast and top grade durians (at reasonable price).

May I know where I can get the Hornet 900 main stand installed?

I've asked MotoWorld but they don't bring H900 Main Stands into our shores. :sian:

Spectrum: from your previous posts, you mentioned you got your H900 Main Stand installed by M Technic.

But the number I called, nobody picked up the phone..

 

If I wanted to get a genuine Honda Main Stand, do I have to get online to make purchases? o_O

u can try asking at loois motor. I got mine at SGD295 :)

but Hornet_Bike, u got to be patient when calling...

normally its just a 1 man show at that shop..

 

u can also email them at [email protected]

A nice Belly pan will go well with this bike.

 

Had a chat with Mr Lee of Looi... He's gonna bring in the

Hornet 600 with ABS..

That's another reason for the higher cost..

Hornet_bike: Had my main stand fixed at M Tech.

Look all over the world and he has it hanging on his wall.

It is not perfectly balance for some reason..

So the ease of lifting it on the Main Stand needs some effort.

 

I do it much easier on the Blackbird.

i saw the silver 250 at loois recently.. looks realli new.. except for the seat.. its been rewrapped b4.. cushion added til it looks damn bloated..

i cant realli rem.. but i think at 120km/h.. the engine is revvin at 10k rpm..
