Update :

Just found out that my coolent is leaking this morning.

Rode back to my usual bike-shop to check, during lunch-time.

They said that the coolent bottle besides the "water-bottle" is leaking, asked me to send my bike to M@h M0t0rs.

Rode to Mah M0t0rs during lunch. Mr "Tuk" was busy, so got to leave my bike there.

This coolent bottle leaking problem existed when I first went to collect my bike at my bike shop 3 months ago. But they sent it back to M@h for a replacement of the coolent bottle.

Then now, the bottle is leaking again... :( :faint:

Hi Seah,

Whoah - just reminded me to check my coolant too!

Just got back from a brief hiatus from riding and SBF. Hardly got to use my scooter much these days as was on leave to take the family out with the car instead. Now that I'm back at work will start using it to commute around already :)

Didn't get to catch our cafe creator, TiC, at the scooter meet - nevermind, guess there'll be opportunities for us AD riders to catch up in the new year!

Season's greetings and Happy New Year 2010 in advance to AD riders and all readers!

Did you buy the one with a very nice number plate? :)

I saw one Adiva with a very nice number plate at the "back" of Mah Motors when I sent mine there for servicing on the coolant bottle.

Just take note to check your coolant level every now and then.

For mine, it gets "dried" up quite often...

Wah... Your FC so good ah...

I only managed about 26km/L on its best.

Normally, I averaged around 25+ km/L.

Maybe becos of my daily normal road riding to-and-fro work, and also sometimes, backside itchy, throttle very suddenly once or twice to pick up speed faster... lolz...

I am at around 2,800km now... Once it reached 3,000, I am going for my last EO change and my engine is considered as "ran-in". :cheeky:

BTW, Bro, do ride EXTRA safely on this scooter.

Esp when you riding on those flyovers.

Just to share with you.

Whenever I am going back to my mother-in-law's place at AMK with my wife as pillion, I have to ride past the Farrer Flyover, going towards MacRitchie Reservoir.

Once on the Farrer Flyover, whenever it is windy, the bike will wobble quite badly.

Also, when turnings at carparks, pls do it slowly and safely, esp if the floor is wet after raining.

After a rainy day one fine day, the floor of the basement car-park of my work place was wet. I reached the car-park, and wanted to make a right turn.

All I know the very next moment, the whole bike was on the floor and my right sided mirror was broken.

After lifting my bike up, there were a lot of scratches on the right of the bike body.

I have to spend SGD 230 for re-spraying the bike body and also about SGD 90to buy a right side mirror. I asked my bike shop to repair the mirror for me and they had to buy the mirror from Mah Motors.

So in future, if there is any problem with your Adiva, go to Mah Motors directly to get the parts from them.

Don't let your bike shop make a profit out of the part that they buy from Mah Motors.

I was stupid enough to be "Robert Chai" once more.

Hi seahmh, thanks for sharing! ya i also feel the bike wobbles a bit on ECP when winds are strong. but its very manageable. maybe i dun travel fast, at max 85km/h.

current mileage @ 580km. just pumped my 2nd tank of petrol, 32.0km/l! me 90% expressway. so maybe tat explains why. but this is SYM joyride engine. 171.9cc. SYM joyride's engine is well known to be fuel efficient.

No more regrets.

Yes, I agree with you too, on the travelling on expressways will give better FC.

Cos sometimes if I travel on the expressways, I find my FC to better as compared to when I am only travelling on normal SG roads, where there are a lot of traffic lights.

Sighz X 10, to announce that my ride was "admitted" to "Mt M@h M0t0rs" Hospital on last Sat morning for a stay over the next few days.

To have the coolent leaking (AGAIN!) problem checked by them and replace the coolent bottle, if neccessary.

Also the problem of engine stalling when I brake and comes to a complete stop at red-lights.

UPDATE.

My ride has just "discharged" from "Mt M@h M0t0rs" Hospital during lunch this afternoon. Went to "Mt M@h M0t0rs" to collect her back during lunch today.

They claimed that the coolent bottle has cracked AGAIN, which led to the leaking of the coolent. They have changed to a new bottle for me too.

Also, they changed the thermo switch for me too, as I "feedbacked" to them last Sat that my engine will stall when I brake and comes to a complete stop at red-lights.

Hi Bros,

Very interested in this bike with shelter. AD200.

Can anyone advise the price of this bike?

Brand new one think should be around SGD 9+K or SGD 10K, if I am not wrong.

I am left with 4 instalments. I sell you mine after I finish my instalments, if you interested... :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

Stock machine, nice 2-digit number plate, mileage only 31++ km as of today.

Thanks for your info, Bro. I initially thought it may cost above 15K...

I am seriously thinking on owning one as a second bike, specificially for use for rainy weather. It seems weatherproof.

I am sure many people will grab your offer. For me, I'll be following closely for the 3 wheeled version.

hi guys, feel free to meet up.

my fuel consumption is really good. so far 32km/l - 33km/l. worst was 30.6km/l. nv gotten less than that. i dun drag the bike. just normal riding. mostly highway @ 80km/h to 90km/h. very accurate speedo reading.

i have added a red LED 3rd brake light for safety purposes. always with P plate on, 24/7. lol

No more regrets.
