how come no small bikes going one? for small bike will take how long to reach tapah? considering our 4L spark fuel tank...

i left count count, right count count, like need at least 7hrs with all the fuel stops correct?

 

Yep, min 7 fuel stops. Provided the small bike group stops every 100km. From borders to mountain base is 584. Go up mountain is another 90. Totalling 674. ^_^

just a few questions...

 

I understand that there are 2 routes up the mountain, one is less steep which is from ipoh side. which route are we taking?

 

For the day trips, are we riding our bikes or taking other transport? The hillside roads certain parts are 2-way 1 lane.

I've been up both sides & both is equally safe. Not forgetting we are traveling in a convoy so it won't be a race to the top. Safety 1st :cheeky:

We will be riding our bikes out for the sight seeing & that is the thrill of touring (personally). Its taking our bikes & ourselves to places. :thumb:

As far as i recall, all roads there is 2 way with their own lane each. Is this the same as your description? Scared i might mis-interpret your sentence :sweat:

I went there early this year, and certain roads(esp those around the tea plantation, 2 cars have to squeeze in 1 lane for both direction, and beside is a drop to oblivion...haha). And i see some places quite little parking, so i thought we taking other transport or using leg power...

 

Hope i not scaring away pple... But nonetheless, i will add my name pending leave... :thumbsup:

haha... no worries... Hope its clears your doubts. Been there quite a few times & the main roads are 1 lane for each traffic.

I guess u must be referring to the roads along tea plantation or highest peak. Those are narrow plantation roads, more like paveways which fits 2 vehicles or if both is SUV, either have to give way. i think i know what you mean... haha...

We won't be taking those road as its too dangerous leading a convoy up those slopes...

Not to worry the main road safe to travel on & we will look out for one another :thumb:

SBF is all about safety. I won't be surprised if ORganizers also arranged a Safety Vehicle **HINT HINT TO MOD:)**

 

i guess all trips regardless of organiser emphasise about safety ba... its like a general thingy to abide... not as though we hav a 1st-to-reach- event... :lol:
