Gadget mount for bikes

Recommended Posts

Heya all, I ordered this mount from overseas and received it only recently so decided to do a review on it.

It is a handlebar mount model which I thought might pose a problem from my Fatbar but surprisingly, it managed to do so and without much hassle. It comes in 2 parts, the handlebar mount and the gadget mount as shown here. The plastic transparent flap is used to cover a picture that you might like to attach to the gadget mount, quite interesting I must say!

Shown here, it is the handlebar mount. The manufacturer is kind enough to provide 2 rubber strips between the clamps for anti slip purposes and to prevent damage to the handlebar (I need only 1 though hence there is only 1 in the picture). There is also a swivel on the handelbar mount to allow 360 degrees of rotation which can be locked down to the desired angle.

This, is the gadget mount which surprisingly, able to hold my Nokia 1650 (Quite a small phone without camera) and a PSP 1000 (the fat model). The gadget also has a rotational function which can be turned clockwise and anti-clockwise to accommodate the desired gadget

Over here, is where the handlebar mount is mounted on my bike.

With the phone and PSP on.

While on the road, the gadget mount was good enough to hold both the phone and PSP without much vibrations to the device. Also, it proves to be quite sturdy at speeds up to 120km/h, thats the fastest I dare to go on Singapore roads.

I would say, pretty good for a product as such and a much cheaper alternative to RAM mounts.

Was thinking of bringing this product and other related products in for the community. So what do you guys think?

U mentioned mustafa used to have it. So I guess they no longer have gadget mounts for bike eh? I asked the sales person a few months ago, only suction types available, not handlebar mounts though. I would be interested if the price is right.

Is this product same as TS.

Thank you

From visual it look the same but I spotted 2 difference. The bottom 2 legs are different and the clear plastic on mine is not a foldable flap style. You can find many ebay listings on identical product from different sellers in ebay. Prehaps you can ask TS where his is from and how much he got it.

I saw one selling for Au$4.89 and another selling at $53, so that why wondering whether is the same product.

Any way any review for the one you are using, it is stable

Thanks

God in his wisdom will protect you
