if the battery is in gd manufacturer condition.....then shld not be battery issue. if safer for you to get it check electrodely at motortiam.

Which year is your bike? What is your voltage at idling and at higher rpm? Maybe not enough charging.

Is there anythng else drawing power from it when its off eg alarm? Generally it shld last more at least year. What u need to know is the voltage at idling and when riding if its charging or not. It could be due to batt problem. ..alternator not charging etc

If you have no history of the servicing, i suggest you do a full check flush and replace the coolant. Check the radiator and themostat etc.

All stx1300. There are mostly st1300PE. PE is pan european with the emblem. Some older models are without ABS.

Too much of a hassle for st1300. Unless you are referring to just topping up.

Hi guys Thank you for your reply. Mine model is 2008 .Replaced battery total damage for batt $160. Fix on and off switch headlamp. Pull out cigarette switch and gps wiring direct from battery maybe this causing batt to weak fast.

Great. Just make sure the battery connection is check occasionally. Sometimes may loosen up due to vibration etc. U can consider install a quartet harness or if you have a lot acc to tap on , install a seperate fuse box with relay. try not to connect anything drawing power to battery direct.

Guys,

 

I need some help.... When riding for about 30 - 45 mins, The Hazard light slightly lighted up and follow by engine stalled, Required to wait for 3-5 mins to restart the engine and everything is fine. Battery just change 2 weeks ago.

 

Is any St1300 riders have such issue... Any solution....

I had similar encounter. Seems like your wire harness is having trouble. Hence the power issue.

 

How old is your ST13?
