I rode this bike in thailand and it was awesome. Smooth and very responsive.

So really like the bike and got rid of my Dealim Roadwin 125. No value. Regret buying the bike. sian

Hope to see you PCX riders on the road!

Cornering with scooter is alot alot alot different than the manual bike. Dont attempt to do what you normally did with your manual bike. Do it after you are comfortable with the riding dynamics and bike mechanise.

Good advice. Doremi is correct.

Your leaning with the bike should be mild. I am speaking about this after unfortunate experience. Negotiate the corner after much braking. Slow in, fast out the corner. Regulate the throttle.

Have fun with the PCX. It's a good ride.

anyone noticed that the fuel gauge / indicator is non-linear....?

meaning that it doe's not relate to the level of fuel in the tank.

I've noticed that 1 bar decreases from full only after like 70-80km which is about 1.5L to 2L gone already and then the rest of the bars maniacly drops after that...

Hey Bro, i have the same problem.. my bike is 2 weeks old and mileage is only 800km... and i am also confused about the fuel indication by the fuel gauge... 1st bar disappear very late and the other 5-6 bars disappear within 40-50km after that.... Don't know hoe to solve this... but since u know ur bike and the gauge behavior so it doesn't matter i guess??

My ideal scooter! I don't see alot of PCX on the road though, where do you guys go? Any outing? haha, I'm just a Fino rider but I've been eyeing the PCX ever since it arrived on our shores. Great mileage I heard, any jarring problems with the engine? I am super impressed by the auto ignition cut-off, just wondering if it cause any problems to the bike if it keeps starting and stopping.

sell your fino... get a PCX....

change the suspension to stiffer ones for better handling...

change your rollers to 13g dr pulley sliding rollers for better acceleration and top speed... you lose some mileage but hey... the accel is worth it...

stock airbox is ****... K&N isn't available yet... so get a Marchald to max the air flow...

and you have a fuel economical, comparatively speedy, good looking 2B scooter :D

The fuel indicator that u guys are facing could be some possible reasons that i can tink of.

Sometimes is the design of the fuel tank, just like cars, for some models, on top of the fuel tank could be bigger & smaller at the bottom, some is the opposite. Those fuel tanks with top is bigger, the bar stays longer on 1st bar, then drops faster on the 2nd & sub sequence bar.

Looking at the fuel gauge meter & monitor the mileage used per tank at the same time.

okay guys. i have been reading since page 1. really interested in this PCX. question is

1. should i get pcx 150 or the new pcx 125.

What important for me:

1. fuel consumption

2. top speed at least 110km/h

so, what is the FC & top speed for PCX 150 and PCX 125 (new/old model)

Thanks!

150 isn't out yet... in singapore that is....

if you want to hit 110 on stock easily then you'll probably have to wait till next year for the 150... but fuel economy will definitely be less than the 125 since it's a bigger CC...

otherwise 110 is achievable on the 125 with minor modifications... slightly higher mods can give you up to 125 km/h... at a cost of some mileage

actually the depreciation in value doesnt apply strictly to pcx. It happens to all the brands of scooter. to own a bike in singapore is becoming like luxury lifestyle. buy high n gonna sell low.

How about maintenance?

You guys heard of Broquet Fuel Charger? anyone tried on their bike yet?

tried. not much significant improvement. maybe class 2b bike less effect.

get a 2nd hand 125 if you want the 125cc... price around $5000+ for a year old... no point getting a new 125 already since 150 is going to be out in the near future...

So far no problems after 6 months. If you want to be on the safe side, what I did was to put a voltmeter to monitor the battery voltage if ever it gets too low. Engine seems pretty ok. Just like any bike, the running in of the engine is important in the beginning.

Bro, where did you get the Marchald filters? Change the filter only or the entire enclosure?
