Guys Ive figure out out to modify the lock myself

 

Do not pay $75 at chaip lee get carrot head chopped,

 

unless u have extra $$ to burn ...lol

 

 

Remove the u pin from behind the lock

 

use key to turn and take out the whole lock set

 

insert original key in and out, you will see some pin going up at both side

they are at the same level

 

insert the key you want to open the box, you will see some pin higher

or lower than the previous level (above)

 

(1) you can either rearrange these pin until they are all same level

 

(2) or file off the access level until they are all same level, meaning

some other givi keys may also be able to open ur box hahaha!

well i have personally use this bag (Rjays) on my S4 P.B 1 ...

 

the bag's okay ..and yes you will be given shower caps for the bags ..

 

Bout the heat thingy from the exhaust ... if it in contact for a short time .. it'sokay cos sometime io carry things and it sag to the pipe. .. after a run (woodlands to Airport) the bag bottom is still touchable .. maybe it's due to the bag being made of nylon and not polyester ..

 

Err.. you can't put a FF inside it... a Half face hemlemt fit the bag juz nice... this after extending the bag to it biggest size ...

 

Bout rain .. well, if it a small shower, the inner bag won't get wet .. but fir heavy showrs... please put the sheets ...

 

that all i can think off ...

Hi guys, can someone advise where to get cheaper Givi E450 box? Just the box only, no need rack or base plate.

Any suggestions of motordiams? Chiap Lee like quite exp...219? Or where?

That's cheap :smile: Wat brand did you buy? btw, w/o the PSB stickers there's a bit of

risk using them on the roads. Still, yet to hear of pple kena fine for no sticker helmets.

i think as long as the helmet not too obvious that it cant pass PSB tests, eg half cap that looks like skateboarders' helmets...should be ok..

 

but just in case..i bought some shoei stickers to cover the index words on both helmets...

Just get the lab ones or go malaysia JB....so damn much cheaper there

compared to local agent stock.

 

FYI in JB the bigger size box Maxim etc also ordered from Italy

 

IMO as long as givi product...dun really matters made in where (for me)

just want to ask if any1 knows..........

my current rear box has no light (means u brake, the red patch will not light up) cos originally, i already dun have (on the box printed no light)

 

is is possible for me to go shops ask them to help me fix in a bulb and do the wiring things, or must get a new box?????????

They quote me abt $70 to install the lights. Told me not worth it. Ask me go back my motortiam to exchange my nex box for one with lights. This way cheaper...

 

Went back to my motortiam to make the request, they suggest asking me to go LAB to buy the box light assembly and bring it back to the shop for them to fix.

 

BTW, LAB quote me $5 onli.

'the box light assembly' .... u mean the bulbs only?what box are u guys toking abt ... is it the Givi box?Givi E450 Simply II?

 

i went HKL to ask for my frd abt this problem(Givi box),the mech wearing a Gold necklace, starting he say need to change the whole light system, i guess including the light casing,then later when i say "wow so ex!" he say just bring the bike down and he will find second hand ones to replace for me....

but he nv say how much....but i guess HKL stuffs cannot be too ex.
