[Discussion] Where to make duplicate ignition keys?

Hi guys

I need to make a spare key for my Ta200. I've tried "Key Shoe" but the spare key they made for me doesnt work at all.

I need a better shop to make the key. Any recommendations?

That's because the fellow's skill is no good.

I did my spare keys for my Phantom at my neighborhood hardware shop.

Go back and ask him to do again for free.

Yes you can duplicate your key with a original or duplicate. There is a Locksmith behind Regina - the other LAB . You either remove the Initiation Key set head or push - tow it there. he duplicate it for you.

Cheers

assuming yr steering not locked u can borrow someone key, start your bike and go to a mechanic.. looks like you have to replace the locks including the petrol cap liao.. unless someone has a better idea?

operate a vehicle in a way that you benefit other road users pls - and meanwhile, stop whining! be responsible and be safe.

Whoa, there is this bike towing guy Michael - I asked him for help with a key maker when he towed my bike and he took me to the shop next to LAB. Told me he would talk personally to them to get me a discount. Naive that I was, I agreed to $80 as I was pressed for time. I really got scammed like a fool. I'm gonna be wary of Michael from now on. Most of all, I am wiser not to trust anyone just like that, however desperate I may be.

Why so expensive?

Original key. With the latch to close keyhole. Gen 2 keys are longer and with an additional plastic wrench build in.
