1) Be very clear about what had happened in your mind. Don't go to the police station all confused.

 

2) Make police report. Police will ask you to draw a diagram of what happened. Draw properly and use proper English. Include all details that you feel are important.

 

3) Inform your insurer of what happened and give them a copy of your police report, identity of other driver etc. If you're claiming, let your insurer know but normally in injury case, insurer will wait for police investigation.

 

4) Wait for police investigation. Where there is injury involved, police will investigate. It will take many months though.

 

5) Don't waste time arguing with people or defending yourself. Ultimately it's the police decision that matters.

somehow i think the car right turn and keep right and i turn and keep left lane so i m going straight as the car is beside me suddenly she turn and and saw it so i speed up to avoid the full collusion on my right side.

 

p.s i reported to IO at traffic police Hq and made a police report as well. now waiting for letter .

in singapore, usually cases hit on the side will result 50 50. in this case u n lady driver lose, insurance win. why did i say 50 50, cos both of u are at fault. if u follow a safe dist, u will be able to brake in time. driver failed to check blind spot. for 2 wheeler, i will never turn out together with a car. reason is u never know if the car take a wide turn. as a biker, it doesnt matter who is right or wrong, juz give in n practise defensive riding. treat it as a lesson n ride with care next time. and pls, when riding, u do not think the car is going straight or turning, u must make sure.

Yap, that's what I thought too, except that TS evaded by going left because he will be making a left turn soon.

thats why it pays to have a good lawyer to fight your case, your gf suffer physical loss, medical condition, affects future job opportunities, physical and pschyological handicap, blah, blah, blah, all these can be computed in monetary damage, whereas the driver in cage suffers nothing, and some more can come up and tok cock sing song you in the wrong, cause them accident, but you suffer the most, tilt the odds in your favour. Only a 'scumbag' lawyer can help you make that kinda money.
