rvf heats up too quickly!!

Hey, need some help again.

 

Just changed seal about 2 weeks ago.

Now, after 20 minutes of riding and when stop at traffic light, engine heats up rapidly, to about 4/5 of the temp gauge.

It used go to a max of only 1/2 the temp gauge after same period of riding and then stopping.

 

And after engine is switched off, abit of smoke coming from under the seat area.

 

Any idea why?

 

1)fan kick in too late?

2)coolant problem / need refilling?

3)engine problem?
