[Trip Report] Solo MHS/GT on CB250A (21-31 August 2010)

Food for thought: Other than the east thailand loop, I've been thinking of this route:

 

Day 1: mersing, kuantan, tasik kenyir(1nite)

Day 2/3: kota bahru, sungei gelok, natathiwat, pattani, songkhla, nakhon si thammarat, ko samui(2nites)

Day 4: koh phagan(1nite)

Day5/6: surat thani, chumphon, phrachuap khiri khan, phetchaburi, ratchaburi, kanchanaburi (2nites)

Day 7: ranong (1nite)

Day 8: phuket (1 nite)

Day 9: trang, satun (1nite)

Day 10: cameron highland (1nite)

Day 11: nshw (home)

 

Estimate to cover 4500km and cost $700 for small bike.

Problem now is dunno where to find the leave.

i'd suggest to separate malaysia and thailand trip.

 

mersing, kuantan, kenyir route is just good enough for long holiday (3 days max). and small road is more tiing and time consuming. so energy and time is wasted on precious vacation. (for poor working people like us)

I just did a solo trip from hatyai, pattani, yala, narratiwat, sungei kolok, full gerik highway loop last weekend.

 

Next mid range trip will be msia east coast ride, taba border, yala, hatyai, trang, satun, padang besar border route once time permits.

 

Btw, you are not poor working people la. Lol.

You are rich in experience ok?! No guts no glory! You got both.

certainly an adventure ride you've.

and as what some may called it 'is better than sex'.

 

planned next cny going to mhs, chiangmai but with a kaki(still not brave enough for solo ride this far)...

my respect to you and daniel.

 

hope my boss approves my 2 weeks or better still 3 weeks leave.
