Yeah, used to receive those free milk packages. Think that time many students were very poor and under-nourished, so the gahmen would give out free milk in those triangular tetrapaks.

 

Speaking of free stuff from school, anybody remembers those mobile dental clinics that would make their rounds to all the primary schools? We were most frightened of receiving "calling cards" from the dental clinics during class!!!

Bus 93!

 

I took that bus for many years, from PY1 to Sec 2! Guess where I studied

 

I loved sitting on the left front seat on that old boneshaker bus on top of the front wheel. There was no grab pole in front so if the driver jams brakes when you're unprepared, you're screwed! But it was a commanding sitting position with a great sense of speed and I could see what the driver was doing. And I learned to drive at a reallllly young age (hint, NOT in singapore )

i remember getting onto service 167 with my brother and cousins way back when i was in primary 6 as we head off to the swimming pool for a day of fun. the bus conductor then was this fella who combs his hair back and gels it thickly. and he used to put a 5c coin in his ear...eeewww!

Kindergarten days, standing at the back of the pick up, to performance at another kindegarten. This is a pic of my sis K2 class dance performance group.

 

The lady in the passenger seat is her class teacher.

I was at the office the other day, and one of us, has to bring her daughter to the office.

 

So I was playing with her for like past month, and even manged to bring in 5 stones to teach her to play. We were discussing probably bringing in rubber bands, and stringing them together to play old primary school recess games.....took us all more then a hour (some time) to remember that the rubber bands game is called 'zero point'.
