954 is a big bore version of 929. From reviews, 954 is sleeker, faster and sharper than 929, but both are bas***d quick for most morals....

I always liked honda bike for their quality. Their user friendly on sitting position.

i tot u tried L's R1 during previous pasir gudang u said damn song?

time to change to R1 la :thumb:

Yeah, but I still liked the honda HISS system, no offense to anyone here, the pre 04 R1 keys looked so much like RXZ keys. The quality of yamaha bikes are still not comparable to honda in some areas.

And honda sitting position is not so demanding as R1s...The blaze comes with EFI from 2000 onwards...

Power wise fireblaze do not have the advantage over R1...But Blaze excel in other areas, look wise R1 still win hand down, but 954 looked like a jet plane where R1 looked

like big cat ready to pounce on you.

Of course that is my own opinions, as long we liked to ride whatever we ride is not a problem....agree??

people. I'm kinda new to bikes even though I've been riding close to 3 years. basically I don't have much biker friends and doesn't spend too much time reading the treads nor do I play around with my bike a lot.

I currently ride NSR150SP which I believe most of you rode before, and I've been thinking of getting R1`01 (the big big end can model??), I'm not very sure, I bought SP and is thinking of R1 because they both appeal to me alot.

May I just ask a few question and some advice if I were to get R1?

1. carb vs. fuel-inject

2. fuel consumption

3. maintainence

4. 2nd price now

5. mods (i'm not very fond of modding my bike, bad experience with my SP -.-)

I will really appreciate responses as I consider myself as a new rider, especially true when I don't even know how to change my own spark plug *s|gH*

There are people out there who knows nuts about their bike and only own them just for transport, so don't blame me for being ignorant ('',)

Think Kinwei would beable to answer u on this..Or maybe u can search for ur Owner's Manual, should be stated there..

As for K4/K5 600/750, H7 is for the main lights while H4 is for the high beams.

929 ? Get 954 lah...improved EFI , very nimble and light...sleeker and shorter , resale value higher, looks are good and slightly more powerful...

01R1 definitely feel more powerful and exciting...Good Carb but not so nimble and prone to tank-slap compared to the Hondas...

If want raw power get 01R1 , for smooth engine and gear change get the 9's ...

So Hachi , when is our next Weekday Track Session ??

Let the good times roll .
