I had a tank bra on an R1 for 6 years. Yes it will protect tank fro scratches and slight dinks. But it will also left very fine scratches over time. The R1 had bad "lines" (due to very fine scratches) right exactly on the stitchings mainly due to the dust that is collect over time. Also the tank color is top notch like OEM while the rest is faded over usage, and the letterings cracked due to the heat trapped. So there is pro n cons depending how you take care of it.

Remove the tank once in a while to clean the dust out. As for color change and cracked letter.. i dunno how to solve. Thats why i never used tank bra again... coz one of the most sexy part of a bike is the tank.. :lovestruck:

around $60 to $70

but take note that meng tong doesn't do custom mapping. its more of getting a downloaded map and tuning/modifying it for your bike

Hi all does any 1 here take note of k7 mileage ?? without opening res . And is there any diff between our running in mileage and after run in mileage ??

after running in 205km without reserve. tried once reserve an go 60+. play save, count it as 50.

Of cos, many other factors affect your mileage. Eg, riders's weight, riding habit, travelling more on street or highway etc etc

i was also advise not to put tank bra by a accessories shop saleman. Like wat hamsterZ said, the dust collected inside will eventually scratch the tank. However, it still depends on how u take care of it.

N also the swingarm slider. From wat he said, when the bike slide (*touch wood*) maybe the swing arm wont get in contact with the tarmac. But cos of the swing arm slider, it get in contact n spoilt the allignment or worst, crack.

1. i like sexy tank....

2. bra is good protection.. provided u take care... (normal bras also mah...you no take car, the underwire spoil.. thats it no lift) Then tink again, which do u prefer.. scratched/dinged tank from a buang or idiots vandalism? or just mini scratches? Its your call...

scully motorworld boss come hamtum me..:giddy:

For sliders, it all depends on design n how u fall.... some fall ok.. some fall, frames not OK.

Thats biking man! As long as they protect, its all about to what extent in what scenerios. Even army tank also can kanah grounded by RPGs

eh wao u no need to sleep huh?
