ok, if so, how to engage it properly, possible to adjust this? It's only when the engine is at appx.100°C.

 

 

check oil level, too low oil level hard to engage gears. maybe try changing the oil, try a different brand. wont go wrong with mobil one..

Arghh...hope you brothers dun mind me ranting....dunno what that bloody yellow signboard shop in bkt merah is doing...everytime i call to check my order for my black/orange k7...."no stock wait for agent wait for agent"...wait freaking 3 months sia...bloody hell i called suzuki agent they say have stock in warehouse. What the fish! If i know, i wudn't have sign the buying docs and take my business elsewhere man.

 

Anyway i used to ride yamaha...so dunno that much gixxers around...greetings to all gixxer-friendly peeps!

Welcome here, but sad for you that you need to wait for dun know how long, Maybe you can check with anyother of your friend , that have book a k7 1000, when they are collecting their bike?? Cos from the look at it, i dun see any bike shop having the 2nd/3rd shipment k7 1000.

 

When k5 were first relese, the first batch only came about 23, which was in may 2005, the 2nd batch that come in was in sep or oct(K6 model laio). if that the case, i think you need to wait for other 2 month laio.

 

Anyway i book my k5 1000 on dec 2004, i waited for almost 6month for the first shipment. it really torturing when you are waiting for a new bike.

where u got your rear shock checked ? Did they show you evidence of oil leakage ? Your pre-load set to the max already ? My feels ok , stiffness still ok .. pre-load still got 3 clicks more to reach max ...

 

3-4 days to rebuild a stock shock ? Put there they meddle with and change your bike parts ... scarly take bike ... become carburettor 03R1 !!

But seriously, if you get lights down in a big jn in SGP, you find that one direction's traffic sure gets jammed up, not to mention maybe accidents occuring.

 

Look at India's traffic. No lights, and yet the traffic moves....

Did the mechanic show you the throttle position/percentage from your LCD screen ? The TPS if I'm not wrong cost about 100 plus ...

FYI, when i was still in the trade,

one of my business partner's mechanic, went to adjust the throttle position on a bike.

 

using a diagnostic tool, but he adjusted it too lean, then customer took the bike, less than 50m away from the shop, the bike tail was on fire ...

exhaust became too hot and melted the whole tail and the bike was lucky under warranty and factory replaced him with a new bike.

 

so my saying is ... bring it back to HL, if anything wrong, at least they will compensate ... u bring to watever shop which ppl recom or say its gd, wat happen if ur bike burns up and it not under any warranty? not worth it rite?
