Hi guys.. just downpay a 04 R1.. getting the bike nx week.. got some questions as its my 1st time riding a class2 bike.

 

1) how much is the rd tax?

2) how many litres of EO for R1?

3) wats the FC for tis bike?

4) wat is power commander and how much it cost?

5) full tank cost how much?

 

Sorry for asking so much questions hehe.. hope to join u guys soon in any outing =)

Too high for a gixxer 1000, normally should be around 78-82 on express way crusing.

 

That temperature seems a bit high for cruising speed... :sweat:

whether it helps.

 

If not , then will bring it for workshop to troubleshoot.

I don't ride an 04 R1 but I'll answer your questions. Any 04 R1 bros don't agree, just correct me, OK? :thumb:

 

1) Road tax is $160 for half a year, $320 for a year.

2) EO is 3 litres.

3) FC usually will range from 220km - 250km before reserve, depending on how you ride your bike.

4) For info on Power Commander, click here. I was quoted $630 for the Power Commander at both Unity and Tachyon Motor. Ask Grave65 and he'll tell you don't waste your money. :angel:

5) Full tank is 18 litres. Price varies cos depends on what petrol you pump. For my 02 R1 which is 17 litres on a full tank, it costs around RM$30 when I pump in JB. If every time pump in Singapore, I will :faint: ... :cheeky:

mayb he quote u the LE version of 06R1 or mayb he quote u those price with minimum downpayment n installment drag for full 6years ba...

It better you go to bike shop and have a quote, different age gro** also determine the insurance, 24k is just a guage for you.

24k is a guage lah, 24k plus insurance if you 31 and above mah.

Can it beat k5?? technology wise is better lah, so many new thing. stock BHP about the same. but our k5 is lighter. so should have some advantage over it. Haven try with any k7 yet. so dun know. But the k7 pick ** abit of sluglish compare to the k5/6, maybe it because of the emission thing that big fat cat under the bike stomach. But maybe a slip on plus some PC3 tunning, i think it will be better.
