i have yet to come across any chain lube that is truly fling-free

 

I lube my chain when its hot

but wont WD40 spoil the O rings?

I have been using kerosene to brush the chain off all the grimes and old lube. then spray on the ususal chain lube. although the lube says it wont fly, it still gets on my rear cowling and swing arm...darn.

anyway i also heard its better to lube the chain when its hot. any truth to that?

Have you tried PJ1 chainlube? I've used this brand before and even now. All I can say is that compared to other brands of chainlube or chainwax that I've used, PJ1 chainlube will be 90% fling-free...

Share this tip with you. WD40 a little on a piece of cloth and wipe your rims clean. All grease and grime will come right off...

WD40 is a De-greaser leh.

 

but i guess if u constantly re-apply, it shld be fine.

 

Personally, i only use it clean my chain n sprocket.

 

yalor....for daily usuage is still ok but if go track better use proper chain lube as WD40 cant withstand hi temp when bike going fast.

If WD40 spoil O rings then kerosene lagi worse liao le....if u using X ring then it flies more lolx....lube chain when hot mayb to cool it down faster ba....
