Daily normal riding will not spoil your engine in long run (excluding wear and tear) but it might affect your performance on bed if you ride in heavy traffic everyday with your stock pipes on ... it's burning

 

advice is to get another small cc bike for transport, in long run u wont have to spend so much $ on the maintanance for r1,

 

ya....even the fc of R1 also can kill u liao

 

yup.. then can spend more on the after market stuff

 

im riding my R1 07 as my riding / transport bike after trading-in my s4...will dat spoil my engine long run

I figure they r trying to mimic Yoshimura EMS which also offers 3 different maps...While for PC, they offer the ability to tune it up lean or rich..

 

But for the mode switch function, i guess everything would be useless once u decide to dump in a power commander..

yeah, using maxxis as well... it felt very different after 2 weeks from installation. then dunno whether i got the correct pressure not. front 34 back 38.

bro.. it might due to corrosion or something... better take it out and let it dry fast.... mine was having the same problem after ride in the rain to KL, for 2 - 3 weeks and i jus dun bother to open up tat time.... when i got time then i disassamble see all corroded and cant help anymore.. act fast good luck
