Harlo everybody!... I'm quite new to this thread but my intention is to make more frens riding Gixxers... Anyway currently i'm riding silver K6...

 

 

Silver?? :lovestruck: I always feel tat's tha nicest colour fer a K6.

 

Mine was, till i had tha race fairings on. Now everyone says it's so off. With tha Red, Black and Green.

 

Cumta tink abt it, ma original fairings had been wit Factor fer more than half a year. Better go collect.. :giddy:

bro, how do u guys differentiate btwn k6 n K7 1000??

Hope u guys can help...

 

Let's go deeper. ( "deeper" sounds wrong fer awhile ) Lemme teach you how to identify a k6 and a k7 rider. Read below: Fool-proof.

 

 

Wah kaoz. You see the bikes only, you would know. It is so bloody obvious. K6 is the one with the single big, stubby exhaust (if never change to aftermarket one). K7 is the one with the twin, big stubby exhausts...

 

Heh heh, through experience :

 

 

On K6 :

 

* One or more scars on RIGHT CALF.

 

On K7 :

 

* One or more scars on BOTH CALVES.

 

All ma frens who had an aqquaintance wit ma Suzy before has live and can proof tat tha original Gixxer pipes are ratha hazardous. They all have a scar ta tell on their right calves.

 

Tat's exactly why i got maself a GPR, less than 1.5mths afta I bgt ma K6.

 

BTW, I have a Gixxer Issue.

 

Ma bike seems ta be under-power recently. Idling has suddenly become lower than 1. Previously, wit tha GPR, it backfires lyk nobody's business wheneva i drop gear or slow down, now, it doesnt happen tat often or tat loud. Instead of gettin' a blastin' sound when i first punch tha ignition button, it has now mellow down alot. When i change gear at RPM 7/8, it seems lyk it's takin' a longer tym ta react. ( i dun engage clutch wen changin' gear btw ).

 

I hav cum ta 2 conclusions:

 

- bike is under-utilised. ( last i rode it was abt 3weeks ago, on tha tracks )

- Petrol has been stored too long

- Engine oil? Two track sessions and I hadnt change it. Or Spark Plug which I last change in April.

 

 

What do you think?

If K5 and K6, the specs are the same. Only the colour schemes are different. Check them both out.

Notice that the K6 on the left. There is an inverted swoosh like design above the GSXR logo whereas the K5 on the right has none. All K6 bikes regardless of colour, have that inverted swoosh thingy...

I wouldn't know cos I don't hang out with the Gixxer group so much except for the occasional bump into them at 2nd link. For outings, either you wait for them to post outings in here or give a call to WW. Everytime he orgynise outings, sure many Gixxers turn up...
