aiya, he never go memorise how much his rpm at xxx gear = what speed lor

different people different riding pattern

why care

basically not dragging your gear at lower rpm saves more petrol

and for me, i change at around 4rpm.

maybe graves65 he change at around 5-6rpm at lower gear, thus higher petrol consumption

 

Yup, the faster you go, the more fuel your bike drinks depending on what gear you are at...

 

How come u need to guess the rpm that u usually ride at?

hey guys wanna ask, are all colour options available at the bikeshop? or the colours is seasonal? means like OCT only got blue, SEP red/white ? How it works? Or the colour discontinue liaoz means bol liaozzz stop production? or i tell the shop i want black then must wait ??

 

Erm, i doubt it's a seasonal thing. Guess it really depends if the shop you buy it from has the stock on hand.

e.g. When i was shopping around and wanted to get mine from Looi's, they didn't have any black ones. However, they placed an order with Guan Hoe - i saw the bikes being unpacked at the shop on the day i decided to pull the trigger on one - something like 3 days later.

 

I believe parallel importers may take a little longer.

Ha! I know what you mean...I've had my bike since Dec 07, and it's only been washed 5 times!

Even then, only on one of those 5 times did i actually do it myself.

The rest of the time, it was washed at some manual car wash. =)

 

But now that i've found a nearby place that washes bikes, I've decided to try and get my baby washed at least once a week...erm.. or maybe fortnight...if i can force myself to get off my lazy ass.

nope riding fast doesnt consume more petrol from my observation. if say u in 4th gear 8k rpm travelling at 110km/h(guessing the speed here) and u at 6th gear at 4k rpm (same speed 110km/h) u consume lesser petrol by riding in 6th gear. thats y i ask which gear u ride at..as in ur riding style that made u reach 200km for FC.

 

anyways pls feel free to correct me if i am wrong.
